Research On Contemporary American Ideology Output To China And Our Countermeasures

Xi Jinping emphasized at the national conference on publicity and ideology that ideological work was extremely important in the Party.Whether ideological work can be done well or not is related to the future and destiny of the Party,the long-term stability of the country and the cohesive force of the nation.In the post-Cold War era,the United States has become the only “superpower” in the world,and the ideological superiority of “America first” has been deeply rooted in the hegemonism of the history.This determines that the United States has always insisted on the forced output and infiltration of ideology as the main content of its foreign policy.With the further advancement of world multi-polarization,economic globalization,social informatization and cultural diversity,China's peaceful rise has become a general trend.China is much closer to the pivot of the world,and China's model and road are gradually recognized and accepted by many countries and people in the world.Western countries,led by the United States,regarded China's peaceful rise as a challenge and threat to the western institution and model.Therefore,they further intensified the output of Chinese ideology and the infiltration of values,and sought to westernize and divide China through peaceful evolution,which has brought tremendous harm and challenges to our ideological and political security.In this paper,the output of Chinese ideology will be systematically studied on such five aspects as the related concepts of ideology,the deep reason of American ideology output to China,the channels of American ideology output to China,the challenges and hazards that American ideology output to China brings to China's ideology security,and China's response.This dissertation is mainly about the following:First,the related concepts of ideology were expounded in a systematic way.Clarifying the meaning of ideology is the basis of this study.In this part,the connotation of ideology can be understood mainly from the definition,characteristics and functions of it.Moreover,the main contents of American ideology output to China are discussed: the political system represented by the constitutional democracy,the economic system represented by the free market economy and the values represented by individualism.Second,the theoretical basis and practical roots of American ideology output to China were focused on.The American ideology output to China has a long history,only making appropriate adjustments according to different historical backgrounds and national conditions.The theoretical basis behind it is mainly the theory of democracy and peace,the theory of soft power and the theory of the conclusion of history.Secondly,the underlying practical roots mainly include the deep-rooted anti-communist ideology,the practical pursuit of national interests and the inherent requirement of the ideological attribute of self-proclaimed “America first”.Third,the channels of American ideology output to China were focused on.The main channel of American ideology output to China is to build an output system with the Federal Government of the United States as the leading factor,mainly by creating a good image of the United States through leaders and senior officials taking the lead in formulating policies,expressing their stances in speeches and implementing public diplomacy.American non-governmental organizations actively participated in the process,advocating American values to China through education and cultural exchanges,and influencing major issues in China through donations and subsidies.As the “advocate” of the U.S.government,American media organizations cooperate closely with the government by defending government policies,acting as a pioneer of ideology output and maliciously speculating about China's domestic contradictions.In the name of religious exchanges,American religious groups maliciously infiltrate China's ideology,mainly in the form of humanizing religious issues and infiltrating Western values to universities in the form of cultural propaganda.Fourth,this study touches upon the challenge and harm of American ideology output to China's ideology security.The fundamental goal of American ideology output to China is to westernize and divide China,and its direct goal is to impact the mainstream ideological security of our country.With the rapid development of network media,the United States has increased the difficulty of our country's defense by the expansion of network ideology.At the same time,the United States and other western countries have never given up the cold war mentality and spread “the theory of the end of history”,“the theory of China's threat”,“the theory of China's collapse” and “the theory of China's responsibility” in the international community to deny China's path,bring shame on China's rise and badmouth China's economy,which has seriously weakened China's international say.Fifth,the strategy to deal with American ideology output is mainly put forward.Firstly,we should strengthen the construction of Marxist ideology to meet the challenges;secondly,we should innovate ideological work in the new era to meet the challenges;and thirdly,we should improve our international say of Chinese ideology to meet the challenges.In short,in the face of the output policy of ideology to China by the United States and other Western countries,we should thoroughly implement Xi's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,earnestly strengthen the leadership of the Party in ideological work,vigorously develop and strengthen socialist ideology,and constantly consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field,and enhance the common ideological basis for the unity and struggle of the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups.Only in this way can we firmly grasp the leadership,management and say of ideological work in the struggle in the ideological field.
