Research On Corporate Governance Structure Of Private Universities

The private higher education in China began in the late 1970 s and early 1980 s,marching along with the process of reformation and opening and surrounding school system-focused policy over the past decades.The developing background,process and current phase of private universities in China are not only different from the government-affected ones in Europe,but also diverge from market-featured ones in America,Singapore and Philippines,which determines the uniqueness and complexity of corporate governance structure of private universities in China.Some problems against corporate governance structure have emerged due to profit drive and supervision lacking.It could realize appropriate power division and check and balance on decision,administration and supervision to speed up the construction of corporate governance structure of private universities with Chinese characteristics,which would promote healthy development and operation of private universities in China over time.In the modern trend of research on university governance system,especially under the macro background of country's vigorously advocating governance modernization;the paper considers corporate governance
