ObjectivesThe purpose of this study was to analyze the application of autonomic nerve regulation parameter heart rate variability?HRV?and recovery of heart rate?HRR?after exercise in the two important stages of altitude training and pre-race preparation of endurance cycling. The establishment of a marker capable of accurately conveying athletic training status that is easily administered and readily incorporated into any training program has become a popular topic in sports and exercise physiology research.Such a marker would allow for recognition of training-induced fatigue or the level of recovery/adaptation achieved, facilitating adjustments in training load to individualize training programs.MethodsPart I Application of heart rate regulation parameters during altitude training stageAthletes were divided into site group?M?and group?R?.We use heart rate and TRIMP partition formula to quantify the exercise intensity and load, and measured HRV and HRV at rest and after high intensity exercise.Selecting HRR60s,HRR120s,%HRR,heart rate recovery coefficient?CHRR?and heart rate 10-40s log regression coefficient(T30)reciprocal index, these data will reflect the activity of the parasympathetic nervous system.Blood collection time was set at immediate every 2 or 4 weeks of the endurance exercise after endurance training and the next morning, including the plateau before?baseline?,at 4 weeks,8 weeks and10 weeks plateau, plateau 12 weeks?9 times?.The routine blood biochemical index of cortisol?C?and testosterone?T?were inspected immediately.Meanwhile,we detect immune and fatigue evaluation index?TNF-a,HIF1-a,C,T?every 2-4 weeks.Part?Application of heart rate parameters in the pre-competition preparation phaseMonitor 12 elite track cyclists in 32 days'pre-competition preparation stage:special training period is 20 days, exploratory adjustment period is 8 days and adjustment period is 4 days. The HRV index of each athlete's morning is measured. After warm-up exercise,Borg fatigue scale was used to obtain subjective fatigue scores.Fasting venous blood was collected on day 1,day 16 and day 24 in order to detect routine biochemical indexes.According to the results of HT5 stage, cyclists were divided into two groups:acute fatigue group?AF?and functional fatigue group?FOR?.Results1)The M group and the R group were different from those of the 7-8w in the exercise intensity for 12 weeks, but there was no significant difference between the two groups. The value of the RMSSD in the two groups had no significant difference between the M group and the R group in the first 11-12 w than in the 3-4w.2)Meaning of the value HRR60S and resting Ln rMSSD following exercise every2 weeks?5-12 weeks?,there is significant negative correlation?r=0.635,P<0.05?;also,with CHRR?r=-0.686,p<0.05?,T30?r=-0.677,P,<0.05?the more obvious correlation.3)HRR60 increased after the standard warm-up exercise,,which was negatively correlated with the exercise ability P60.The recovery speed of exercise ability in FOR group was lower than that in AF group after a 50%decrease in exercise load during taper period.Conclusion1)The application of autonomic heart rate regulation parameters is helpful to distinguish the exercise adaptability and exercise fatigue, which caused by different exercise intensity in the late stage of altitude training. It is important to conjuncted with other relevant indicators to estimate exercise fatigue, since most of the derived adjustment parameters have no specific association it.2)The HRV and HRR were separated which suggest that two kinds of indexes might reflect the different aspects of autonomic nervous regulation function.3)The increase of HRR60 after standard warm-up is the early diagnostic index for in endurance cyclists. However, the increase of parasympathetic tension may limit the sympathetic activity during high intensity exercise.
