A Study On Promoting Marxism Popularization In Polytechnic Universities

The issue of popularizing Marxism in polytechnic universities has long been existing and crying for intensive attention and attentive handling,because it has great impact in both theory and practice on the morality-centered and socialism-oriented education.Distinctiveness of polytechnic universities and situations at home and abroad all considered,both theoretical and empirical researches into the issue,by probing its status quo,the immediate problems,how-to,and follow-up evaluations,are significantly important.The dissertation is composed in three interrelated parts of introduction,body,and conclusions,dissected into several chapters.Chapter One:Introduction--foundation,theories,practicalities,outlines,and methodology of researching are covered in detail.Literature review is sorted out to help illustrate the focal points and innovation.Chapter Two:Survey on the status quo of the issue of popularizing Marxism in polytechnic universities--questionnaires,sampling,field research,interviews are carried out to collect valid feedback.Statistics present an overall picture of the issue,and the crux of existing problems is thus induced.Chapter Three:Analyzing problems--the acting subject,the object,the medium,and the links in popularizing Marxism in polytechnic universities are analyzed in succession,serving the cause for finding solutions.Chapter Four:The basic principles and systematic contents of promoting the popularization of Marxism in polytechnic Universities are expounded.Grasping the seven basic principles of practicality,science,entirety,people,popularity,differences and development correctly,as well as the main content of popularizing Marxism to undergraduates,postgraduates and doctoral students in polytechnic universities are elaborated.Chapter Five:Selecting methods to popularize Marxism in polytechnic universities--the proper methods are selected from a comprehensive view of discipline construction,practices,campus culture,and media promotion.Chapter Six:Performance evaluation-involved in the follow-up evaluations are objectives,criteria,targets,and design of the evaluation system,and the measurements to assess theory courses,teaching groups,Marxist youths,student associations,and campus activities are also included.In the final concluding part,the dissertation summarizes the research,and makes proposals for deeper speculation.
