With the constant development of information technology,new media are developing rapidly and deeply connected with our life that it has become an essential part of people' lives.Among them,social media is the most popular one.It is not only the source of all kinds of information,but also will affect the users' way of thinking.Wechat is a commonly used social media in China and it is gradually changing people' social patterns.Nowadays,it is also playing an increasingly important role in actual life.The Mongolians continue to innovate in order to adapt to the status quo.'Bainu' is a Mongolian social media with larger users.If the Mongolian social media like 'Bainu' wants to take it further,it is necessary to learn from the advantages of other social media and improve our understanding of the need of users.The Mongolian social media not only can promote the usage of Mongolian language,but also can expand the Mongolian cultural exchange and dissemination.It also can make a difference on the users' thinking mode.The paper applying to the ' Uses and Gratifications Theory ' as the theoretical basis,which study the demands of the audiences.In this paper,methods like questionnaire investigation and interview were adopted to understand the basic situation and the uses and gratification situation about the Mongolian college students' usage of Wechat and 'Bainu'.On this basis,the author analyzes some problems which exist in the process of the Mongolian college students using Wechat and 'Bainu'.And at the same time,put forward some relevant measures and solving ideas.The paper consists of three parts:introduction,main content and conclution.The introduction part mainly includes the main content of the research,the purpose and sinificance of the research and the research status and methods.The main content consists of the chapter one,the chapter two and the chapter three.In chapter one,the current situation of new media and Mobile social media is elaborated.In addition,the status quo,functional application and dissemination characters of Wechat and 'Bainu' are also stated.In chapter two,the basic situation of the usage of Wechat and 'Bainu' by the Mongolian college students are statistical analysed which in using methods like interview,documentary analysis and questionnaire method.For example,analyze the Mongolian college students'usage habits,the purpose of usage goals and satisfactory situation of using Wechat and 'Bainu' and at last,make a conclusion about the characters of it.It makes us have a further understanding about the users' intention to use.In chapter three,according to make interviews and questionnaire survey,the author draw a conclusion about in which aspects Wechat and 'Bainu' satisfy the demands of the Mongolian college students.And towards the problems which exist in the process of using the two social media,the author also put forward some relevant measures and solving ideas.At last,the reasons why'Bainu' has less users and the problems need to overcome have concluded and some relevant suggestions are raised on the further development of'Bainu' to make a contribution to the development of the Mongolian social media.
