Ideological and political education discourse is an important topic in the study of Ideological and Political Pedagogy.Since the discipline of ideological and political education was established in the 1980 s,the research on the Discourse of Ideological and Political education has been gradually deepened.With the development of the research,some constructive results have been achieved,and a relatively complete discourse theory of ideological and political education has been formed.However,as an important carrier of Ideological and Political Pedagogy,the discourse of ideological and political education has continuously evolved with the development of the times and the progress of society.To this day,there obviously exist some shortcomings if the discourse of ideological and political education is viewed from a static perspective only,so it must be viewed from a dynamic perspective as well.From the perspective of the development of ideological and political education discourse,this paper analyzes the basic theories of the development of ideological and political education discourse,sorts out the historical process of the development of ideological and political education,explores the motivations for the development of ideological and political education discourse,and then puts forward the ideological and political education discourse to further develop practical and feasible countermeasures.With a view to enhancing the level of ideological and political education discourse and improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education,this thesis has taken "Study on the Development in Ideological and Political Education Discourse" as the topic.The development in ideological and political education discourse has followed "what has been developed-why is the development-how to develop" approach,respectively answered questions such as the related concepts of the ideological and political education discourse topic,the resources of the ideological and political education discourse research,the evolution history of the development of the ideological and political education discourse,the reasons for the development of the ideological and political discourse and the way how ideological and political education discourse will develop,etc.It is based on these theories and practice of discourse development in ideological and political education that the research framework has been formed.The first chapter reviews the basic issues related to the development of ideological and political education discourse.The definition of ideological and political education in foreign countries is different from that in China.However,there are still some similarities available for our reference in areas such as the discourse theory research,ideological discourse development and civic education discourse development.In our country,some research has already been completed in the development of discourse in ideological and political education,including the problems to be solved and the ways to solve them.We’ve also learned the experiences and lessons in the construction of discourse in foreign ideological and political education.Despite this,further research still needs to be done as to why and how to develop the ideological and political education discourse.The second chapter analyzes the basic theory of development in ideological and political education discourse.Based on the analysis of the discourse,the ideological and political education discourse,the constitutional elements of the ideological and political education discourse and the connotation of the development of the discourse of ideological and political education,it is proposed that the linguistic thinking of Marxism should be the theoretical basis for the development of the discourse of ideological and political education.Marxism considers that language is produced in the need of interaction with others.Language is inextricably linked with human thinking and consciousness.People’s political and economic activities are inseparable from language as an important tool.Language has undergone a process of assimilation and differentiation and thus formed a unique national language,but this does not hinder the role of the unified language.In addition,the style and pattern of language has played an important role in disseminating messages,inspiring and guiding the mass people.All these characteristics have provided theoretical guidance for the development of the ideological and political education discourse.Additional reference is accessible through the related research results in the western basic discourse analysis,critical discourse analysis and multimodal discourse analysis.The third chapter examines the historical process of the development of discourse in ideological and political education.The development of the discourse of ideological and political education has been closely integrated with the three historical stages of revolution,construction and reform led by the Chinese Communist Party.It has experienced the process of seeking national independence,building a socialist country and realizing socialist modernization in discourse objectives;and in discourse content,characteristics have been formed as a revolutionary,constructive and reform and opening up discourse;and various forms of discourse have been adopted to adapt to various tasks.This chapter also summarizes the experience of the development of discourse in ideological and political education as below: always take Marxism as the core content of the discourse of ideological and political education;realize the Marxism in Chinese characteristics;determine the discourse objectives around the historical missions of each period;synchronize discourse content selection and development;persist in the mass line to show people’s character in their discourse expression.Under the guidance of the aforementioned experience,the effect of the discourse of ideological and political education is enhanced so that the discourse of ideological and political education moves forward in the development and changes of the times.The fourth chapter explores the essential requirements of the development of discourse of ideological and political education.From the aspects of the internal motivation and external pressure,this paper analyzes the necessary requirements of the development of discourse in ideological and political education.The contradiction is the intrinsic motivation for the development of things.The contradiction between the speech of the speaker and the acceptance of the listener is the basic contradiction between the discourses of ideological and political education,the inner motivation of the discourse of ideological and political education.It is exactly the contradiction between the elements that constitute the discourse of ideological and political education led by this basic contradiction that the discourse of ideological and political education continues to develop.The external pressure on the development of discourse in ideological and political education primarily includes: the infiltration of western ideological discourse,the impact of diverse social trends of thought,the negative impact of network discourse and the cultural differences in the era of globalization.The ideological and political education discourse is improved and developed in the process of continuously coping with internal and external pressures.The fifth chapter puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on the development of discourse in ideological and political education.Taking the elements of discourse of ideological and political education as the starting point of the analysis,it is considered that the premise of the development of discourse of ideological and political education is the improvement of the interpreter’s capability of discourse speakers.The key to the development of discourse of ideological and political education is to take care of the recipients of the discourse of ideological and political education.The core of development is to enrich the discourse content by means of improving the discourse style in the development of the discourse of ideological and political education.The platform for the development of discourse of ideological and political education is to optimize the context of discourse.Only when the above mentioned elements work together can the relevance and effectiveness of the ideological and political education discourse be enhanced and the development of ideological and political education discourse be accordingly promoted.
