Intervention Research On The Effect Of Dance/action Therapy On The Physical And Psychological Health Of Autistic Children

Since the 1960s,Dance/movement Therapy has been used in educational intervention and therapy of autistic children abroad,and has formed a corresponding treatment model.Overseas researches have shown that the form and content of DMT therapy make the autistic children to have a pleasant physical experience,and have a positive impact on their perceived movement,social interaction.However,it starts relatively late in domestic,especially are still in the exploration stage in the treatment process,content,specific implementation,integrity evaluation and so on.A few studies have reported individual training in of autistic children.The research on the effect of Dance/movement Therapy of autistic children is almost blank.This research is established in the research results of Dance/movement Therapy for autistic children in non-clinical environment.This paper researches the efficacy of Dance/movement Therapy in the intervention of autistic children in the context of physical and mental paradigm,explores the changes in the physical and mental development of children with autism after intervention in Dance/movement Therapy,summarizes and concludes the intervention mode,implementation process and method of Dance/movement Therapy for autistic children,and puts forward relevant suggestions and prospects for this.The research uses the following scheme supported by Shanghai Caihongyu Children Intelligent Rehabilitation Centre:(1)Select 28 autistic children that 17 persons in Dance/movement Therapy group and 11 persons in control group for a 12-month DMT intervention experiment,explore the changes of body function test,body quality test,large movement ability test,ABC scale,CBCL scale,SRS scale,RBS-R scale of SCQ scale,emotion recognition test before and after intervention.(2)Select 17 autistic children parents for in-depth interviews to carry out three-level coding analysis from the perspective of qualitative research and explore the interventions impact of Dance/movement Therapy for autistic children.(3)Select 1 autistic child to carry out Kestenberg Movement Profile KMP quantitatively analyze 5 video action in videos,understand the movement style and mood disorders of the case,explore the internal relation between the movement pattern and mental activity,provide some guiding significance for Dance/movement Therapy evaluation.This research concludes that:Dance/movement Therapy has a positive effect on the physical and mental health of autistic children,and has a significant effect in the field of social interaction and physical movement,especially has a positive effect on the social withdrawal in the core symptoms of autistic children,and the clumsiness and poor coordination.The Dance/movement Therapy provides the opportunity of physical perception,music rhythm,emotional experience,can effectively promote the development of their perceptual movement,social interaction,emotional management,cognitive and so on with its rich intervention content and healthy and green intervention.The possible arrangement of the formulation,intervention content,intensity and time of correct grasp,action assessment implementation,and group therapeutic schedule and timely feedback from parents play a vital role for Dance/movement Therapy core ideas in the research.Creative dance,mirroring,imitation,double cooperative action and synchronization action,as well as musical dance/action forms of group fusion have a positive effect on the ability of autistic children to socialize in Dance/movement Therapy.From a physical education perspective,Laban/Bartenieff Movement System has an important effect on the physical abilities of autistic children from the point of view of physical education.The Kestenberg Movement Profile,KMP can understand,reflect and expand non-verbal expressions,and can establish feasible action prescriptions through action evaluation to help autistic children to improve social and communication and build physical awareness.In short,the research results show that Dance/movement Therapy is effective and feasible for the treatment of autistic children,and can positively affect the social skills and physical and mental health of autistic children.The research is a pioneer in the promotion and application of dance therapy for autistic children in China.The "Star Hope" dance therapy program for autistic children won the gold award of Shanghai College Students Entrepreneurship Competition,the bronze prize of National College Students Entrepreneurship Competition,the gold award of the China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition and the outstanding project of the Chinese Youth Volunteers and so on.More autistic children and their families have benefited from the wrote "Dance Therapy Rehabilitation Manual for Autistic Children" and six-level television instructional film.Furthermore,The research results have also been reported by the news media,such as Shanghai TV station,many times.
