With increasingly fierce competition in the market environment,innovation has become an important way for companies to maintain long-term competitive advantages.From the point of view of innovation and development of Chinese enterprises,the long-term adoption of the “introduction-absorption-innovation” model has led companies to fall into the “imitation-backward-re-simulation-rely-backward” model of innovative choices,which has always been manifested as continuous catch up and rarely exceed.In the past,research on the formation strategy of corporate competitive advantage was based on the view of corporate resources,focusing on the relationship between certain types of resources of the enterprise and corporate innovation.Some were based on the perspective of corporate capabilities and focused on certain capabilities within the enterprise.The relationship between innovation,in the increasingly fierce market and technology environment,based on the theoretical perspectives of corporate resources and capabilities,and it is difficult to effectively solve the essential characteristics of the establishment and maintenance of sustainable competitive advantage.A large number of studies have shown that when enterprises cannot obtain the key resources for enterprise development from the outside,they can still obtain resources from within the enterprise to carry out innovation activities.The slack resources of enterprises have a positive effect on enterprise innovation.However,from the perspective of resource management of resource orchestration,there are few studies on the effects of explaining the differences between slack resources and innovation activities.Based on theoretical derivation and literature review,and the perspective of integration of resources and capabilities,and the existing research on resource management,ambidexterity innovation,and enterprise performance,the study focused on Chinese companies,and proposed how “slack resources affect ambidexterity innovation and how the slack resources affect enterprise performance.Using unabsorbed slack and absorbed slack as the dimension of slack resources,based on the perspective of exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation innovation,and the effect of slack resources on the performance of enterprises is analyzed,and the slack resources of enterprises are explored based on resource orchestration and ambidexterity innovation moderating effect.This study analyzes the impact of slack resources on enterprise performance,and determines that exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation are intermediate variables,and that resources are arranged between slack resources and ambidexterity innovation as regulatory variables and the measurement of each variable is determined.As for the relationship between various variables,the corresponding research hypothesis was put forward and a research model was constructed.Through 393 questionnaires of Chinese enterprises,a multiple linear regression method was used to empirically test the slack resources,ambidexterity innovation and enterprise performance.The inter-relationships,and test the role of resources in the regulation of slack resources and ambidexterity innovation and the role of ambidexterity innovation mediation.The main conclusion of this study is that unabsorbed slack has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance.Absorbed slack has a significant negative impact on enterprise performance.Different types of slack resources have different effects on enterprise innovation.Specifically,unabsorbed slack has a positive impact on exploration-based innovation.Unabsorbed slack has a negative impact on exploitative-based innovation.Unabsorbed slack has a positive impact on exploration-based innovation.It has absorbed slack for exploration.Innovation has no effect.Exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation all have a positive impact on enterprise performance.Resource orchestration plays a moderating role in the relationship between slack resources and ambidexterity innovation,specifically to the different dimensions of slack resources and the different dimensions of ambidexterity innovation,and the different roles of resource orchestration in its influence difference.Ambidexterity innovation plays an intermediary role in the relationship between slack resources and enterprise performance.It has absorbed slack to influence enterprise performance through the use of innovation,and has played an entirely mediating role.Unabsorbed slack has influenced companies through exploration-based innovation and exploitative innovation.Exploitative innovation plays a partial intermediary role.The conclusions of the study basically confirmed the important relationship expected by this research institute.This study shows that this study is based on the integration of resources and capabilities and studies the relationship between the enterprise's slack resources and exploitative innovation to explain the similar slack resources for innovation,but the innovation results the phenomenon that is not exactly the same is due to differences in the arrangement of slack resources by different companies.It regulates the conversion of slack resources to innovation and is scientific in nature.The innovation of this research is mainly reflected in:(1)In-depth exploration of the impact of ambidexterity innovation on enterprise performance.Combining strategic management theory,resource-based view and innovation theory,this paper empirically analyzes the influence of different dimensions of enterprise ambidexterity innovation on enterprise performance,and enriches the relevant research on ambidexterity innovation to enterprise performance;(2)Combines resources from the perspective of resource orchestration.Fundamental view and resource management theory,study the heterogeneity of the enterprise's resource orchestration.In previous studies,most scholars studied the impact of enterprise resource heterogeneity on enterprise performance from the perspective of traditional resource-based and enterprise capabilities.The research on the heterogeneity of the dynamic management capabilities of enterprise resources is seldom involved,and there is a lack of empirical research.It is an extension of traditional resource-based concepts and enterprise competence theory;(3)Through theoretical analysis,it proposes slack resources to enterprise performance.The impact is achieved through the intermediary process of the ambidexterity innovation of the enterprise,that is,the existing slack resources of the enterprise,some of which transform into exploration-based innovation activities,and some of which are transformed into exploitative-based innovation activities,and then have an intermediary effect on the performance of the enterprise.Through empirical analysis of data analysis,ambidexterity innovation is used as an intermediary variable to open the mechanism of slack resources on enterprise performance,and to provide theoretical support for enterprise ambidexterity innovation.
