| The heterogeneity of the city’s geographical location,administrative level,population,knowledge stock,etc.,seriously affects the effect of the same industrial policy in different cities.After a long period of development in China’s manufacturing industry,the phenomenon of geographical agglomeration has not only occurred in the "spotted" areas within a single area,but has also seen more "flake" concentration across regions,and the gradual constraining of energy consumption and environmental pollution.In a tight context,the heterogeneity of the city has a certain influence on the agglomeration effect of the manufacturing industry and the transformation of the kinetic energy of the green total factor productivity.Therefore,it is a development trend to explore the influence of manufacturing agglomeration on urban green TFP in urban heterogeneity environment.This has important practical significance for realizing the coordinated development of cities,high-quality economic development,and industrial restructuring and far-reaching practical value.Researchers at home and abroad have accumulated some achievements in research on agglomeration effects such as economic growth,productivity improvement,urbanization enhancement and narrowing income gap in manufacturing agglomeration.However,these research results all assume that agglomeration effect has the same effect size in all regions,The heterogeneity of regional existence has no effect on the agglomeration effect.However,in reality,the quality of institutions,research resources and population in a region all have an impact on the size and scope of agglomeration effects.Therefore,based on the factual analysis of the characteristics of manufacturing agglomeration and green total factor productivity in 285 cities in China,this paper constructs an analysis paradigm of "industry-city-space".Within this analytical framework,the center of the study is the relationship between manufacturing agglomeration and urban green TFP,with a focus on how the heterogeneity of the cities caused by industrial development,city size,and regional affiliation(DSA)factors can affect manufacturing Industry agglomeration effect.In terms of empirical research,this dissertation uses the panel data of 285 cities in China from 2004 to 2015 to test the relationship between industry development(D),city size(S)and urban area(S)using the measurement methods of space lag model(SAR),Regional association(A)affect the size and direction of manufacturing agglomeration effect.The main conclusions of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1)China’s manufacturing industry not only has obvious agglomeration phenomenon in a single city,but also shows more "patchy" localized agglomeration,with obvious structural differentiation in the manufacturing space agglomeration;(2)With the tightening of resources and environment constraints,both urban green TFP and greentech progress have shown a tendency to decline,and there is no sign of reversing this trend.However,the efficiency of urban green technology shows a contrarian trend;(3)From the point of industrial development(D),manufacturing industry agglomeration has a significant threshold effect in improving the green production efficiency of cities;compared with the administrative level cities,due to the lack of political rights for resource allocation,manufacturing agglomeration;(4)Based on the urban-scale factor(S),the degree of agglomeration of manufacturing in Chinese cities has a dynamic relationship with the size of cities,and only the two have reached the maximum Optimal equilibrium state,its synergy can play the role of optimal green efficiency;(5)Considering regional related elements(A),the urban regional correlation can significantly affect the manufacturing agglomeration effect,but the adjustment direction and the adjustment range are different,as shown by the increase of 9.28% in manufacturing of urban green TFP;(6)In the process of improving urban green total factor productivity,according to the eastern,central and western regions where the city is located,the manufacturing industry Urban heterogeneity caused by factors such as development(D),city size(S),and urban regional association(A)can significantly affect the magnitude of spatial spillovers in manufacturing agglomeration,but only in different processes..The conclusions of the above research broaden the research space of industrial agglomeration effect.Specifically,the main innovation of this paper lies in: the three elements of "industry-city-area" are included in the framework of industrial agglomeration analysis at the same time,and industrial development(D),City size(S)and regional association(A)affect the agglomeration effect of manufacturing industry;and empirical analysis of urban heterogeneity from three aspects of industrial development(D),city size(S)and regional association(A)On the basis of this,from the East,West,industry development(D),the size of the city(D),and regional association(A),and test the influence of regional differences on spillover effect of manufacturing agglomeration space. |
