| The open innovation is becoming the new mode to cope with the competition.With fierce competition in the market,the enterprise is particularly urgent to pursuit innovation.The constant change of science and technology demands higher requirements for organizational innovation,the complexity and difficulty of innovation are constantly upgrading,the closed innovation model cannot meet the demand of enterprises for innovation.At present,Chinese enterprises are actively building an open innovation system.Nowadays,with the rapid development of knowledge economy,IT gradually penetrates into various fields of enterprise operation and management.The wide application of IT enables enterprises to continuously update their organizational structure,production mode and management mode.In the open innovation situation,IT has become an important strategic resource for enterprise innovation.The increasing breadth and depth of IT application in the enterprise are affecting the external knowledge search.IT-enabled knowledge capabilities have become the foundation and guarantee for the external knowledge searching among organizations.Knowledge networks have become an important channel for enterprises to search for external knowledge.At present,enterprises in many regions of China are actively carrying out open innovation,and the knowledge networks matching with it is developing rapidly.In the context of global economic integration,market turbulence is more difficult to anticipate,the survival of enterprises is under great pressure and challenge.Companies are based on obtaining,sharing,integration and use of knowledge,actively span organizational boundaries and search for external knowledge by networks relation with suppliers,customers,competitors.External knowledge is an important source of innovation.In the century,the amount of knowledge is increasing,technological changes are more quickly,enterprises obtain resources from the knowledge networks in the process of innovation in order for opportunity.In the complicated external environment,enterprises have realized the importance of knowledge networks,are building networks relation to exchange and share knowledge.The enterprise can have important knowledge resources for open innovation.At present,Chinese enterprises are actively building and maintaining knowledge network with other organizations in the guidance of innovation drive strategy and develop the open innovation by external knowledge searching activities.In order to improve innovation performance,Companies will acquire and integrate the knowledge.However,Chinese enterprises just recently begin to search external knowledge and the scholar's research is not systematic.Enterprises which attach importance to IT-enabled knowledge capabilities in external search strategy are few.The mechanism research on external knowledge search is becoming frontier problems in the key business and academia fields.The paper explores external knowledge searching activities of enterprises on the basis of resource-based theory,knowledge-based theory,enterprise capability theory,organizational search theory and social network theory.The paper analyzes the relationship of the IT-enabled knowledge capabilities and external knowledge search,external knowledge search and innovation performance.The paper takes searching for external knowledge as a key variable,constructs the conceptual model.The paper analyzes the relation of IT-enabled knowledge capabilities and innovation performance,IT-enabled knowledge capabilities and external knowledge search,external knowledge search and innovation performance,the regulating effect of networks relationship and the mediating effect of external knowledge search.At the same time,this paper analyzes of the relationship mechanism between variables and proposes the research hypothesis.Finally,this paper makes an empirical test of the research hypothesis.The paper analyzes data from 359 companies and processes 359 questionnaires by the SPSS and AMOS software.The research tests hypothesis and model fitting through linear regression and structural euation,the vast majority of the hypothesis is verified.The main conclusions of the paper are:(1)IT-enabled knowledge capabilities positively affects innovation performance.Digitized knowledge reach positively affects innovation performance by knowledge acquisition exchange and integration in information system.Digitized knowledge richness facilitates tacit knowledge communication by IT tools and provide the basis and conditions to creates new products,will promote the innovation performance IT-enabled knowledge capabilities positively affects external knowledge search;(2)Digitized knowledge reach positively affects external exploitative knowledge search and external exploratory knowledge search.Digitized knowledge richness positively affects external exploratory knowledge search;(3)The external exploitative knowledge search and external exploratory knowledge positively affect innovation performance.The external knowledge search is less excessive in China at the present stage.Enterprises can develop two kinds of search behavior together,but one is important and the other is auxiliary;(4)The external exploitative knowledge search plays a partial mediating effect between digitized knowledge reach and innovation performance.The exploratory external knowledge search plays a partial mediating role between digitized knowledge reach and innovation performance.The exploratory external knowledge search plays a partial mediating role between digitized knowledge richness and innovation performance;(5)Networks relationship positively regulates the relationship between digitized knowledge reach and exploitative knowledge search.Networks relationship positively regulates the relationship between digitized knowledge richness and exploratory knowledge search.Networks relationship positively regulates the relationship between digitized knowledge richness and exploratory knowledge search.The paper shows the innovation in research perspective and content.The paper makes "external knowledge search" as a core variable in "capability-behavior-performance" logic framework,on the base of the research limit,explores enterprise external knowledge search behavior.Innovation embodies in three sides :(1)The paper explored the influencing factors of innovation performance in the field of open innovation in the organizational view.The paper analyzed and tested the relation between digitized knowledge reach and innovation performance,the relation between digitized knowledge richness and innovation performance,the relation between external exploitative knowledge search and innovation performance,the relation between external exploratory knowledge search and innovation performance.(2)The paper included IT-enabled knowledge capabilities in the research framework and explored the influence path between IT-enabled knowledge capabilities and external knowledge search.The paper analyzed and tested the relation between digitized knowledge reach
