The decentralization of knowledge,the mobility of human resources,the iterative nature of the market,and the turbulence of the environment have gradually led to the depreciation or obsolescence of old knowledge in a short period of time.Extensive knowledge search for service innovation has become the direction of corporate efforts.In the process,the ability of knowledge transfer has a great impact on the use of knowledge.At the same time,in the digital environment,big data is gradually becoming a strategic resource for enterprise service innovation.Many enterprises have begun to invest in the construction of big data analytics capability to improve the overall operational efficiency of the enterprise.Whether big data analytics capability can enhance the effect of external knowledge search on service innovation and create value for enterprises is a question worth exploring.Knowledge is the source of an enterprise's core competitiveness.Searching for knowledge through social network relationships as much as possible is a strategic choice made by an enterprise to enhance service innovation.The research on external knowledge search and service innovation is still in the process of development.Some scholars have introduced related variables of internal capabilities of enterprises to try to find the relationship between external knowledge search and service innovation,but they have ignored the process of knowledge transfer between organizations.The role played by the construction of big data analytics capability in the process of seeking external knowledge search and service innovation has not been fully revealed.To address this gap,this research uses the literature research method to explore the path of external knowledge search to service innovation under the guidance of the knowledge-based view and social network theory,and introduces two variables of knowledge transfer and big data analytics capability.Analyze the relationship mechanism among them,and put forward 9 hypotheses.To test the proposed hypotheses,the research used 218 enterprise sample data.The findings show that:(1)external knowledge search and knowledge transfer have significant positive effects on service innovation.(2)External knowledge search has a significant positive effect on knowledge transfer.(3)Knowledge transfer has a full mediating effect on the relationship between external knowledge search breadth and service innovation,but only a partial mediating effect on the relationship between external knowledge search depth and service innovation.(4)Big data analytics capability positively moderates the relationship between knowledge transfer and service innovation and the relationship between external knowledge search breadth and knowledge transfer.In summary,this study enriches existing research by analyzing the role of external knowledge search,knowledge transfer,and big data analytics capability on service innovation and expanding the scope of application of knowledge-based views and social network theory.Besides,research conclusions provide guidance for enterprises to carry out service innovation activities by analyzing enterprises how to establish relationships with external organizations and search for knowledge.Also,the study shows insights and decision-making basis for enterprise managers to build big data analytics capability by analyzing how it can increase the rate of knowledge transfer and improve the accuracy of service innovation.
