Empirical Analysis Of Thriving Businesses Paths Based On Rural Vitalization

The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "the main contradiction in our society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing need for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development".A prominent manifestation of China's imbalanced and insufficient development is the issue of "agriculture,rural areas,and rural people",which is a fundamental issue related to the national economy and people's livelihood.Rural prosperity leads to national prosperity,while rural economy recession leads to national economy recession.One of the fundamental purposes of the Rural Vitalization Strategy is to solve the "agriculture,rural areas,and rural people" problems.Among the five implementation strategies of rural vitalization,thriving businesses is the key of pleasant living environments,social etiquette and civility,effective governance and prosperity.Only when the industry is prosperous can the countryside regain its vigor and vitality and realize its vitalization.Therefore,to study the relationship between Rural Vitalization and thriving businesses,how to thriving rural business and rural industry under the background of rural vitalization,and which paths should rural industry take forward in the future? This is the problem both the government and professors want to solve now.It is significant not only to explore the specific paths to thrive rural businesses by changing the phenomenon of rural recession,aging and hollowing,But also to promote the development of rural industrial economy under the vitalization of rural areas in China.The content of this paper: First,it combs the basic connotation of Rural Vitalization,thriving businesses,and the relationship between them.Summarizes the relevant theories of thriving businesses,pointing out the basic paths to thrive rural businesses.Second,analyzing the current situation of the rural industries from the total amount,structure of primary(agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery),secondary(with the processing industry of agricultural products as the main industry),and tertiary industry(with potential to developed are analyzed in depth).Third,it is to realize agricultural modernization,which thrive the rural business among the basic paths.Analyzing the relationship between agricultural modernization and rural vitalization,measuring the level of agricultural modernization by AHP,studying the influencing factors of agricultural modernization and putting forward to realize agricultural modernization by using two-sector model and fixed-effect panel data model.Next,it analyses specific paths of industrial upgrading which is the basic paths to thrive rural business.Study the relationship between industrial upgrading and rural vitalization,constructs the index of industrial upgrading by weighted average method,tests the spatial correlation of industrial upgrading by self-correlation global Moran's I,and studies the factors influencing industrial upgrading by using generalized spatial regression model(SAC).Afterwards,study the specific paths of rural industry(primary,secondary and tertiary)convergence which is the basic paths to thrive rural business.Analyses the relationship between industry convergence and rural vitalization,calculates the degree of industry convergence from both sides of supply and demand by using input-output method and correlation coefficient method,analyses the factors influncing industry convergence,and puts forward the concrete realization paths of industry convergence.Finally,it studies the specific paths to realize the promotion of agricultural total factor productivity which is the basic paths to thrive rural business,and analyses the relationship between agricultural total factor productivity and rural vitalization.Based on the data of 4131 farmers' households in 14 provinces and municipalities of 2013 CHIP,it calculates the agricultural total factor productivity of households with Solow residual value method under environmental constraints.The distorted allocation of labor,capital and land factors influences the promotion of agricultural total factor productivity.Obtain the specific realization paths of improving agricultural total factor productivity by two-sector model and empirical analysis.The main conclusions are as follows: First,thriving business is the basis and key of Rural Vitalization Strategy.It is the primary task,central issue,and the fundamental guarantee of pleasant living environments,social etiquette and civility,effective governance and prosperity.Second,the paths to thrive businesses should achieve agricultural modernization,rural industry upgrading,rural industry convergence,and improve the agricultural total factor productivity.(1)the paths to realize agricultural modernization: applying modern science and technology to agriculture;perfecting the system of contracted land in rural(separating rural land ownership rights,contract rights,and use rights),establishing land transfer market;powerful manufacturing industry is the support of agricultural modernization;properly promoting urbanization and ensuring farmers' voluntary in land transferring,forbidding local governments to impose excessive land expropriation on a large scale.(2)The paths to realize rural industry upgrading: the transform rural enterprise from labor-intensive to technology-intensive one.It forms rural industrial cluster characteristics by benefiting from its own resource to drive surrounding economy;extend rural main industry chain,develop rural effective circular economy.(3)The paths to realize the convergence of rural industries: science and technology infiltrate agricultural industry,use effect of agricultural technology knowledge spillover,relax government regulation to promote industrial convergence,adapt to market demand.(4)the paths to improve agricultural total factor productivity: optimizing rural labor allocation,reducing information asymmetry in urban and rural labor markets;optimizing capital allocation,reducing the cost of information asymmetry which farmers paid higher interest rates of loans in financial market;processing land transfer market,and establishing a united rural farmland and residential land transfer platform.The main innovation points of the thesis are as follows: From theoretical analysis,giving the basic connotation of thriving businesses;it is proved that the agricultural total factor productivity is lower measured under environmental constraints than that without environmental constraints in theoretical model.Which provides theoretical basis for relevant empirical research.Relaxing Zhu Xi's(2011)hypothesis of land invariance and expanding theoretical model of distorted allocation.From the methods,the degree of rural industry(primary,secondary and tertiary)convergence is dynamically measured from the supply and demand side.Analyze the influencing factors of rural industry upgrading by spatial econometric model(such as SAC),which reflects the similarity of rural industry among different regions by spatial econometric model.From the view,put forward four basic paths to thrive rural
