the optimal level of urban agglomeration development in the current period without reducing long-term sustainability is of great practical significance for realizing the sustainable development of urban agglomerations.The urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is a typical strip-shaped urban agglomeration with rapid development and unbalanced development in the world.It is a leading region for the strategic development of China's economic and ecological goals.It contains China's developed regions and developing regions.It is a typical unbalanced region with undeveloped watershed development.The development level of the urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is more significant.The promotion of sustainable development of the Yangtze River Economic
