Research On The Influence Of Knowledge Domain Coupling On Firms' Ambidextrous Innovation In Collaborative Innovation Network

The implementation of the "Made in China 2025" strategy has brought many development opportunities for Chinese enterprises from extensive growth to innovation-driven development.The close integration of big data-driven information technology and the physical world has greatly promoted the upgrading and development of enterprises' technology.Knowledge is an important strategic asset for enterprises to maintain continuous innovation.The interaction and coupling between knowledge elements in different fields is crucial to firms' innovation activities.In a highly turbulent technical and economic situation,the knowledge base and knowledge creation capabilities of individual organizations are far from effectively supporting the company's continuous innovation and long-term development.Collaboration and resource sharing among organizations have become the key elements for the improvement of firms' innovation capabilities.In this context,enterprises seek to build a collaborative innovation network of knowledge sharing and resources complementary,to effectively coupling and apply the complementary knowledge resources of collaborative partners,and exert the leverage effect of technology synergy to promote enterprises innovation.Therefore,this paper has carried out a series of researches on the coupling of knowledge domains in collaborative innovation networks and their impact on firms' ambidextrous innovation.The main contents including the following four parts:(1)Research on symbiotic evolution and dynamic equilibrium of knowledge coupling subjects in collaborative innovation network.In the context of open innovation,enterprises often acquire the knowledge and technical resources needed for innovation across organizational boundaries.Knowledge co-creation provides realistic basis for the collaboration among all subjects in the innovation network.First,based on the analysis of the characteristics and structure of collaborative innovation network,this paper explores the symbiotic model and dynamic evolution process of knowledge coupling subjects in collaborative innovation network based on symbiosis theory.Secondly,Logistic model is used to reveal the symbiotic evolution path and stable equilibrium point of knowledge coupling subjects.Thirdly,the system simulation method based on Matalab is adopted to analyze key factors that affect the symbiotic evolution of knowledge coupling subjects.(2)The realization mechanism of knowledge domain coupling in collaborativeinnovation network.Based on the characteristics of knowledge domain coupling and the factors that influence the coupling of knowledge domain,this paper analyzes the path of knowledge domain coupling in collaborative innovation network and proposes the causal relationship of knowledge domain coupling.On this basis,the system dynamics model of knowledge domain coupling is built on the principle of system dynamics to discuss the mechanism of knowledge domain coupling in collaborative innovation network.In addition,the Vensim PLE software is used to simulate the knowledge domain coupling model and analyze key elements that affecting knowledge domain coupling.(3)Empirical study of the effect of knowledge domain coupling on firms' ambidextrous innovation.First,based on the relevant literature,knowledge domain coupling is divided into two types: complementary and substitutable knowledge coupling.Secondly,we try to analyze the positive impact of complementary and substitutable knowledge coupling on firms' ambidextrous innovation(including exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation)respectively.At the same time,we adopt two paths examine the hypothesis that knowledge creation mediates the relationship between complementary knowledge coupling and firms' exploratory innovation,while organizational memory mediates the relationship between substitutable knowledge coupling and firms' exploitative innovation.we also propose the hypothesis that inter-organizational trust moderates the relationship between knowledge domain coupling and firms' ambidextrous innovation.Then,Suitable measurement indexes are selected for each variable in the research model,and the measurement scale of knowledge domain coupling is also developed.After collecting the data of high-tech enterprises by means of questionnaire survey,we use statistical software SPSS and Amos to make empirical research,to identify the direct impact of knowledge domain coupling on firms' ambidextrous innovation.The research hypotheses of the different roles of knowledge creation,organizational memory and inter-organizational trust on the relationship between knowledge domain coupling and firms' ambidextrous innovation are also tested.(4)The knowledge coupling management strategy in collaborative innovation network.On the basis of the previous research,drawing on the two dimensions of time and space,adopting the technical and institutional collaboration perspective,this paper puts forward management countermeasures and policy suggestions to promote value-added of knowledge in collaborative innovation network and performance of firms' ambidextrous innovation from three aspects: enterprise,government and network platform.The research results of this paper show that the evolutionary trajectory of the symbiotic relationship in collaborative innovation network undergoes a dynamic evolution process from parasitic,partial symbiosis,asymmetric reciprocal symbiosis,to symmetric reciprocal symbiosis or independent development.The realization path of innovation outcomes based on knowledge coupling is: knowledge domain coupling dynamics? knowledge domain coupling? knowledge base formation?knowledge innovation ability? innovation output.The empirical results of knowledge domain coupling and firm's ambidextrous innovation indicate that knowledge creation mediates the relationship between complementary knowledge coupling and exploratory innovation,while organizational memory mediates the relationship between substitutable knowledge coupling and exploitative innovation,inter-organizational trust plays a moderating role in knowledge domain coupling-ambidextrous innovation relationship.This paper deeply reveals the dynamic evolution law between knowledge coupling subjects in the collaborative innovation network,and explores the realization path of knowledge domain coupling and its mechanism on firms' ambidextrous innovation.The research results enrich literature in the fields of collaborative innovation,knowledge management and ambidextrous innovation,and expand the application of theories and methods of symbiosis theory,system dynamics,system simulation in knowledge and collaborative innovation research.Our study is also of great theoretical and practical significance to improve firms' innovative output through knowledge value-added.
