This study investigated the relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction among Sunday school teachers in the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church, Seoul, Korea.;This study employed a cross-sectional descriptive method to describe characteristics of Sunday school teachers from the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church and also used a causal comparative and correlational research design to explore the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational climate, selected sociodemographic variables, and volunteer history variables.;The instruments employed were the Ministry Satisfaction Inventory (Wilson, 1987) and the School Level Environment Questionnaire (Fisher & Fraser, 1983) with demographic questions and volunteer history questions. The sample for this study was 416 teachers selected from 17 churches in Seoul, Korea. Pearson moment-product correlation, t-tests, and one-way ANOVAs were conducted to test hypotheses.;The majority of the subjects were young (under 30), unmarried, female, and well-educated. Also, about three-fourths were involved in other ministry activities and had family or friends in Sunday school ministry. About half of the subjects reported a strong sense of calling as a Sunday school teacher and spent one or two hours each week preparing for Sunday school.;While significant differences were found in several job satisfaction subscales according to demographic factors and volunteer history variables, there was no significant difference in overall job satisfaction except on the variables of age and "sense of calling." Also, it was found that there were significant correlations between job satisfaction and organizational climate but their correlations were weak. In addition, implications for Senior Pastors and Directors of Christian Education, limitations of this study, and recommendations for future study were presented.
