A modified Diversity Mission Evaluation Questionnaire (DMEQ was administered in the clinical psychology and organizational studies programs at the San Francisco Bay Campus of Alliant International University (AIU) for generalizability and inclusiveness. Qualitative methods complemented the DMEQ by providing in depth perspectives pertaining to attitudes, beliefs, and experiences regarding multiculturalism on campus in light of the university's mission. A triangulation analysis was conducted to assess the DMEQ's internal consistency further and to determine its cross validation aspects. A list of recommendations is provided and a case is made for a multiple-method approach in organizational assessment. Before this study, research literature was not available involving the assessment of multicultural transformation in organizational studies programs. |
