| This research focused on facility location issues involving production capacity, distribution patterns and investment levels in the context of global trade. Several scenarios were considered based on various facility configurations and levels of exchange and tariff rates. The results obtained from these showed the model is sound and the results are in complete agreement with accepted economic theories. The limitations of this study and future research possibilities are also discussed. |
