| This study examined the communication of a terminally ill adolescent. It illustrated her perceptions of her communication interactions. Information was evaluated and revealed an understanding of Katie's communication in interactions in personal sphere, public sphere, and technical sphere. The results helped researchers to discover more about how a terminally ill adolescent communicates and how people can adjust their communication practices in order to best interact with her and others like her. Suggestions for future research are also offered. |
