The directional sowing technology for corn is one of the main method to increase production,it will increase yield obviously compared to traditional sowing technology according to the existing research results.In order to solve the problem of the directional sowing technology for corn,this paper developed a set of directional seed transport systems,which combined electromagnetic vibration directional theory and machine vision recognition technology into one,which laies the foundation for realizing the directional sowing technology for corn.It was cleared about the appearance and physical characteristics of corn seeds by means of the size,TKW,density,and the determination of the coefficient of friction between different materials.This paper concluded the relationship between the buried posture of the com seed and the leaf growth direction based on the preliminary experiment research for the directional sowing.Through experiment it has been clear about the ideal way of mechanization directional sowing is that the seeds with long axis were perpendicular to the row and the seed embryo of surface is "positive" upward.According to the principle of vibration feeding,this research put forward a method to realize directional vibration seed transport,and the relationship between the posture change and mechanical parameters in the process of orientation was discussed.It designed a directional vibration test device according to the mechanics model of double freedom degree and double plastid forced vibration system,the model and forced vibration simulation were analyzed for the the vibration performance of the test device by using ADAMS software.The test results showed that the altitude difference between up and down of feed spout and the inclination angle of spout surface and their interaction had a significant impact on the directional rate.The best test parameter combination was determined by multiple comparison analysis;the results of the direct and reverse motion directional rate were achieved when the test parameter was best combination.In addition to this,the high speed photography was applied to the observation and verification for the direct and reverse motion test result,the analysis result showed that the actual state of motion was in keeping with the theoretical analysis basically.On this basis,it was designed the directional ordering hopper type conveyer,at same time it realized the directional transport of corn seed through experiment.This paper studied the four type's method of corn seeds "cutting-edge" towards detection by use of image processing technology such as "area of scanning method"," Susan corner operator","and Harris corner test operator" and "cutting-edge".The experimental data showed that the recognition method of Contour curvature is the best of the four in recognition effect.In addition to this,the seed embryo logical operation had been performed through observing the histogram of the H-channel and S channel peak grayscale range of the seed embryo image region;it got and marked the "positive" of the corn embryo area.It obtained the threshold for the differences of positive and negative of seeds through the contrast test,according to this threshold,the seeds of positive and negative had been identified.This study designed a electromechanical integration test platform for corn seed directional detection,it made the directional vibration transports and single seed separation device to join in the process of conveying and realized the separation of single seed and real-time image acquisition during the transport,while using PC as upper computer and MCU as lower computer for the control system hardware and software design,it used the serial port communication technology for the real-time operation of test hardware system.Overall operation of the system was tested by the 15 times test of 3 groups,the whole test result showed that the highest working performance was 750 grains per hour,the best directional success rate was 94.6%when the motor speed was 4r/min.This study will provide the conditions for directional packaging,directional processing and directional sowing of corn,and it will provide the new ideas and new methods for mechanization and automation directional sowing of corn.
