The paper focuses on the theories of the Kabalevsky's music education and teases out histhought system of music education. In the process of teasing, the author finds more evidence,and makes objective and detailed analysis, in order to provide a reference platform for futureKabalevsky's researchers, besides, to make efforts to enrich theories of research on musiceducation in China. The paper comprehensively reviews education ideas of Kabalevsky'smusic, teases out and integrates the whole music education ideas system. The main bodies ofpaper are divided into five chapters, including the background and musical activities overview,education ideas background and theory basis, musical education purposes and functions,contents and methods, perspective and evaluation of Kabalevsky's music.The introduction tells the research background and the reasons why the author choosesthe research subject and introduces the significance of the research and the research status athome and abroad. It also explains the research method and objectives of this paper.The first chapter: A summary of Kabalevsky's life and an overview of his musicactivities. It contains four parts. The first part is an overview of Kabalevsky's music life. Andthen a systematic arrangement of his music creation activity is made, so the whole musicprofiles are shown. The second part tells us Kabalevsky's music education activities. It canlay the ground work for the following chapters. Finally we need to analyze the relationshipbetween the music education and music creation.The second chapter: background of Kabalevsky's thoughts and the foundations of histheory. Kabalevsky's thoughts have his own background and so have specific theoryfoundation. The first part describes the history of music education in Soviet Union. Thesecond section introduces Kabalevsky's theory foundation of his music education thought.Conclusion is made about Kabalevsky's music education thought under the Soviet Union'spolitics, economy, culture, education and social music education condition and has a scientifictheoretical basis.The third chapter: functions and aims about Kabalevsky's music education. By analyzingKabalevsky's education purpose, this paper points out that his theories and practices aretowards the whole students. It makes wide-ranging implications to the cultural and developsstudent's personality at the same time. Comparing with other people's thought of musiceducation, we can see that Kabalevsky's music education not only plays an important role inaesthetics and morality, but also contributes to music and music education beyond theeffective implementation of the aesthetic and moral fusion, and realizes the value of musicboth internally and externally, which cultivates good aesthetic accomplishment and goodmoral quality of students.The fourth chapter: Kabalevsky's music education contents and methods. This chapterconsists of two parts: Kabalevsky's music education contents and the methods. The first partbegins with Kabalevsky's music education content, Kabalevsky's music educationinterdisciplinary, and characteristics of Kabalevsky's music education stage, then describes the contents and features of Kabalevsky's music education. Combining the music works andteaching examples, the first part makes the analysis and the summary, on the basis of which,the second part summarizes the contents of education methods of Kabalevsky.The fifth chapter: Kabalevsky music education's contribution to music education system.Because of its uniqueness and practicability, Kabalevsky's music education thought becomefamous in the world like other music education systems, they together constitute the humanprecious cultural heritages. Kabalevsky's music education thought is prestigious in Russia. Atthe same time it is becoming the source of music learning. This part firstly introduces theKabalevsky music education thought, and then illustrates the significance of Kabalevsky'smusic education in the world.
