A Study Of Nan Yang Narrative In Overseas And Domestic Chinese Literature(1945-2015)

This paper regards Nanyang subject novels in China,Southeast Asia and Chinese Taiwan as the main research object,to analyze the narrative theme in the Nanyang history of Chinese immigrants,the Pacific war and revolutionary history of the communist party of Makaysia,to explore the documentary and fiction of mainland writers' works,the constryction and subversion of Southeast Asian Writers's Nanyang narrative,the recall and reconstruction of Malaysian Chinese writers living in Taiwan and Nanyang narrative in different regions.Finally,it compares and reflects on the problems in Nanyang narrative.First of all,the introduction of the thesis explains the origin of the study,followed by the explanation and definition of the key words such as "Nanyang","Nanyang narrative." The "Nanyang narrative" which is explored in the thesis,is actually a kind of historical narrative in Nanyang,as the story takes place in Nanyang with the Chinese history as narrative object.Second,it reviews domestic and foreign research background revolved.Finally,it briefly illustrates the research methods and framework of the thesis.The first chapter analyzes the Nanyang narrative of writers from Chinese mainland.The first section is the overview of mainland Nanyang novels as a whole,the other sections interpret the works of different periods of representative writers in detail.It is difficult to for these writers to get rid of the restraint of the center theory of China and the influence of left-wing discourse system in Nanyang narrative.Wang Anyi and Zhang Yueran brought different narrative angles for Nanyang narrative.Zhang Yueran subversed the previous Nanyang narrative mode to a certain extent in particular,and renovated the Nanyang narrative.The second chapter discusses the Nanyang narrative in Southeast writers'works.The first section gives a historical overview of Nanyang narrative in Southeast Chinese literature,and the other sections are divided in different narrative themes and different generations of writers.Through a detailed analysis of the text,found in the Nanyang narrative writer's efforts to construct the Nanyang Chinese immigration history,weaken of emigrant consciousness,and highlight the consciousness.Chapter Three researches the Nanyang narrative in Taiwan.The first section classifies Nanyang theme works of writers traveling in Taiwan,and the other three explores the 6orks of the selected representative writers of a generation.No matter from a personal narrative,the narration of family history or Malaria communist historical narrative,personal history,family enterprising history or Nanyang revolutionary history,they jointly build a history of Chinese immigrants in Nanyang.Based on the previous three chapters,Chapter 4 compares and reflects the Nanyang narrative in World Chinese literature.The first section analyzes the"linguistic dissonance"in Nanyang narrative,the second discusses the"identity complex" in Nanyang narrative,the third explores the mode of narrative in Nanyang narrative,It points out that the narrator's narrative standpoint and ideological issues behind the "linguistic dissonance" and"identity complex" are related to the relationship between "China"and"Nanyang"in Nanyang narrative.Nanyang narrative is the imagination,understanding and interpretation of"Nanyang".In different historical periods and regions,the Nanyang narrative present different features.It points out that the narrator's narrative standpoint and ideological issues behind the "linguistic dissonance" and "identity complex" are related to the author's identity standpoint,social and historical context of the creation of these works,which determine the relationship between China and Nanyang in the works as well as the heteroqeneous characterstic of Nanyang narrative.
