innovation of contemporary novel concepts and the future development of novels.Longitudinally,the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia novels are not in an isolated state.They are a branch of the development of modern Chinese novels and one of the achievements of the development of modern Chinese novels to 1940s.It inherits the practical experience of modern Chinese novels in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,the "May Fourth" period and the Second Revolutionary War period,and also inspires the development of novels in the early Republic of China.The ideas of novels formed during the
