Wuxia culture has a long history in China,and as one of the most distinctive types of Chinese films,wuxia films have won the honor of the Anticipating in the international film world.However,in recent years,the development of Chinese wuxia arts films has encountered unprecedented bottlenecks.The superficiality of the theme,the lack of creativity of the film director,the flaws of the story content and the audience's aesthetic fatigue of the special effects movies have all contributed to the decline of the wuxia arts films that once made the Chinese people proud.In this cultural context and the film market environment,if we want to continue to write the myth of wuxia arts films,we must give "wuxia arts" a more epoch-making significance of the new characteristics.When the wuxia arts film encountered the creation difficulty in the Chinese film market,director Xu Haofeng broadened the pattern of the genre films with a series of "new wuxia films" with distinct characteristics of "Wenxia".Compared with the traditional wuxia films,Xu Haofeng's "new wuxia films" have a more neat narrative structure,unique storyboard style,profound cultural connotation and realistic action design,together,they have built up the distinctive theoretical framework of Xu Haofeng's "new wuxia films".Xu Haofeng's drama theory of "new knight-errant films" is firstly embodied in his firm creative standpoint.The creative standpoint refers to the narrative idea and creative thinking of the creator of the "new wuxia film" when he conducts his dramatization activities,it includes such theoretical issues as the differentiation and analysis of the characteristics of the drama types of the new Wuxia films,the implanting of the connotation of the literary and chivalrous roles,the inculcation of the Creator's self-reflection,the following of the realistic effect,the consciousness of the subject's male consciousness,the orientation of the audience class,etc.On the basis of the above theoretical discussion,a set of concrete applied techniques is derived,including the construction of three-act drama structure,the setting of narrative grammar,the expression of cultural theme and the Presentation of Action Aesthetics,etc..From the point of view of narrative structure,Xu Haofeng's new wuxia films are often adapted from rich literary works,and the three-act play node structure,which is neat in structure,clear in main line and reasonable in plot node distribution,is used for layout from the point of view of narrative grammar,the shooting script of Xu Haofeng's "new wuxia films" gives the audience a strong sense of seeing and hearing,while the design of the Lens rejects the traditional concept of upgrading to emphasize the action details in traditional wuxia films,it not only takes authenticity and logicality as the highest principles of Action Aesthetics,but also adopts a clean and neat panning method or a long lens with fixed position to show the whole picture of the fight,showing a kind of sharp and cold documentary color,inspired by the theories of cognitive linguistics,it further refines a series of image narrative techniques,such as situation coordination,narrative concealment,reappearance and misdirection,Xu Haofeng's "new wuxia film" follows the Cultural Construction and the recognition theory,receives the realism creation principle,carries on the earnest textual research to the history,displays the rich wuxia story and the profound cultural connotation in the film;From the point of view of creation idea,different from the traditional knight-errant characters whose ultimate goal is to punish the evil and promote the good,the knight-errant pays more attention to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese wuxia culture.Xu Haofeng's "new wuxia films" not only broadens the creative pattern of Chinese films,but also undertakes the important mission of excavating and spreading the culture with national characteristics.The creation of Chinese films should not only pay attention to the aesthetic pleasure of the audience,but also the creators should have the artistic consciousness of spreading the core values and promoting the national culture,the creation of Xu Haofeng's "new wuxia films",which have the characteristics of "literary swordsman",is the practice of this artistic concept.
