Research On Mao Zedong's View Of The Times

In the process of leading China's new-democratic revolution and the socialist construction,Mao Zedong used Marxism-Leninist theory of the times,focused on the times' theme of the war and revolution,and built the special and distinctive theory of the view on the era about the international issues such as what kind of times we live in,opposing the imperialism and colonialism,the war and peace,the development direction of socialism and the theory of "three worlds' division",etc.As an important part of Mao Zedong Thought,his concept on the era enriches,develops,innovates Marxist-Leninist theory on the era,is the ideological banner of scientific understanding and rational analysis of the times,and leads the way forward and unites the strength of struggle for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on the current studies and researches,guided by Marxism,and employed the method of historical investigation,this paper tries to comb the historical literature and academic achievements,make a comprehensive analysis of Mao Zedong's view on the era in his youth,in the new democratic revolution period,and in the socialist revolution and construction period use the research methods of literature analysis and historical theory,trying to reveal Mao Zedong's judgment on the era and its influencing factors to show the characteristics,historical status,the value and its enlightenment.Mao Zedong's view on the era has a profound theoretical foundation of Marxism and is rooted in the soil of Chinese culture with long history.As an important ideological and theoretical basis for the Communist Party of China to govern the whole country,the Marx and Engle's' theory of the times provides the members of the Communist Party of China with the world view and methodology to observe the world situation and understand the international pattern on the era.Lenin,Stalin and Comintern's understanding of the world issues had a great influence on the formation and development of Mao Zedong's view on the era.The social practice at home and abroad in the 20th century provides an important support for Mao Zedong's view on the era.In addition,the conceptual understanding of the trend of the times in Chinese culture and the contemporary ideas of Yan Fu,Kang Youwei,Liang Qichao,Sun Yat-sen on understanding the world situation,gaining insight into the world trend of thought and advocating progress have added local materials to the formation and development of Mao Zedong's concept of the times.On the base of the background of the times,this study divides the formation and development of Mao Zedong's view on the era into different historical stages,such as initial formation,gradual system development and practical application in the national governing circumstances.His study in the youth period stored the great energy as a foundation for his view on the era.From the 1920s to the eve of the full outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japan,Mao Zedong's view on the era was mainly reflected in the idea of unification of the Communist Party of Russia(Bolshevik)and the Communist International and anti-Imperialism.During the whole period of Anti-Japanese War,Mao Zedong's view on the era was systematically founded with main concentration on the following aspects:establishing the philosophic outlook and methodology of observing the times;constructing the theoretical system of analyzing the international situation and the world order;establishing the logical path of understanding the era;and during this period,his view on the era basically taking shape.During the civil war of liberation,Mao Zedong's view on the era embodied in the idea of striving for the middle zone,which decisions especially in the face of the unprecedented development trend of the international situation,the transformation of the Chinese society and the imminent ruling of the Communist Party of China in the whole country.Since the founding of New China,the Party has led the Chinese people to explore the socialist construction and accumulated rich experience.With the beginning,formation and development of the concept of the times,Mao Zedong gradually formed the main contents of the concept of the times covering such international issues as what the epoch we were in at that time,the theme of war and revolution,opposition to the imperialism and colonialism,the world war and peace,and the development direction of socialist times.Therefore,this laid the foundation for Mao Zedong's view on the era to be applied and tempered in the practice of socialist revolution and building socialism in an all-round way,Mao Zedong was influenced by the factors related to the international times,such suppressed by the wrong tendency in the exploration of socialist construction road at that time.While experiencing twists and turns,Mao Zedong constantly reflected,and finally made a new judgment on the times with the theory of"three worlds' division",which opened up a new thinking for the international environment of the reform and opening up and the gradual clarification of multi-polarization.Just under the influence of Mao Zedong's scientific analysis and judgment of the times,the Marxist theory of the times has been innovatively developed,the treasure house of Marxist theory has been continuously added with new contents,the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics has been carried out smoothly,and the international strategy and diplomatic practice of the Communist Party of China have far-reaching influence in the history of international communist movement.Mao Zedong's concept of times inherits and develops the principle of Marxism-Leninism,and provides a strategic reference for the Chinese Communist Party to open up the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics in leading reform and opening up.On this basis,his exposition of the concept of the times presents the main characteristics of holistic thinking of the times,unique innovation,distinct materialist dialectics and firm people's nature.Therefore,we should not only pay attention to Mao Zedong's strategic decisions on China's revolution and socialist construction,but also focus on the political influence,strategic thinking and value enlightenment of these times'judgments and strategic decisions.That is,the vision of the era is the characteristic advantage of CPC in governing the country;Mao Zedong's view on the era is to gradually form an international strategy and diplomatic practice with the characteristics of Chinese revolution and socialist construction on the basis of analyzing and judging the times.
