A Study On Neighboring-avoid Effects Between Metro Citizens And New-generation Rural Workers

With its inner generation change,a new generation of rural workers has composed more than half of its total volume.The main topic regarding this issue has shifted from the flow of workers to the integration of the group to the whole.How to live is a main issue of the topic,and served as a core aspect.How to live does not only mean where to live,but also the education,social welfare,social life,and many other aspects.Current studies mainly focus on the view of rural workers,regardless of the view on the city residents who is willing to respect a neighbor from rural area or not.This article will focus on the range of same city,same community,to the same resident building.It will reflect the influence range from far to near.It will also analyze four types of neighboring effects,which are city neighboring-avoid effect,community neighboring-avoid effect,resident-hall neighboring-avoid effect,and resident-ratio neighboring-avoid effect.After that,the article will analyze the cause and potential influence of these effects,as well as the factors that concerns and its delivery effect.There are following 8 perspective of this study:(1)The range of neighboring effect,community neighboring effect,resident-hall neighboring effect in Beijing is 19.36%,18.41%,and 25.71%;and the range and depth of resident-ratio neighboring effect is 85.43%and 53.82%.These figures are much higher than the same peer figure from the rural worker's side(2)The Beijing residents'evaluation on moral standard,social behavior,modern behavior,identity,compatibility,and social contribution is lower than the evaluation made by the rural workers themselves.Among them,the evaluation of the identity has the highest different rate;and the evaluation of social contribution is almost the same.(3)The higher the evaluation on rural workers by Beijing residents,the less will they avoid contacting each other.As a result,how to judge and evaluate the identity has changed into the social behavior and the compatibility.(4)T hose Beijing residents,who are married,has children(especially the children are young),with Beijing resident-registration,elderly,and long-time live in Beijing,have higher community living-avoid effect rate and score.(5)The higher the social status is,the lower the city avoid rate will be(with a shape of U).However,it will also increase the community avoid effect and the neighboring avoid effect,and the result and score are much higher.The lowest rate happens to the group of colleague-educated,monthly income between 10,000 to 20,000 RMB,and self-regard as mid-high level residents.(6)Internet-reliance is increasing on both Beijing residents and new generation of rural workers,and this increase will lower the rate and score of community neighbor-avoid effect.Also,relatives-related effect is higher than the colleague-related effect.Inner-community communication with rural workers is higher than the outer-community peer communication.(7)The evaluation from Beijing residents on the rural workers has made up about 50%-60%on the community neighboring-avoid effect in the perspective of intermediary effect,among them,the identity and compatibility rank the top.The moral evaluation and social-contribution evaluation has an intermediary effect on city neighboring-avoid effect,and at the same time will influence the community neighboring-avoid effect of other group.(8)The evaluation made by Beijing residents on new generation of rural workers made up 70%-80%intermediary effect on their social network's neighboring-avoid effect.Also,the identity and compatibility rank the top.Social behavior and social contribution differs a lot in the intermediary effect,and they differ by the link to the problem that concerns.The moral standard and modern standard are both relatively low in intermediary effect.This study also provides some policy advises for local government to promote the integration of new generation of rural workers.And the study also provide new ideas on how to change the rural workers to new residents of the city.
