The Study Of Rural-to-urban New-generation Migrant Workers Urbanization Based On The Social Capital Perspective

With the accelerating process of urbanization,the citizenization problem of new generation migrant workers become more and more prominent.I introduce the concept of social capital in the study of new generation migrant workers citizenization.The rich social capital will has a huge impact on the the urbanization of new generation migrant workers.However,due to lack of community-based and network-based social capital,social capital doesn't play its adequate effect on the new generation migrant workers citizenization process.Based on the analysis of the relevant literatures review,I build a theoretical model,design measurement scale,conduct trial investigation and modify the scale under the theory of social capital.Thereafter,252 valid questionnaires are collected,and I analyze the data by SPSS19.0 and AMOS17.0.In the data analysis,the data has been carried out descriptive statistical analysis,project analysis,reliability and validity test,factor analysis,correlation analysis and structural equation modeling analysis.After these analysises,I finally conclude The following conclusions.The new social capital will promote economic,social and psychological aspects citizenization of new generation migrant workers.The original social capital suppresses new generation migrant workers' social and psychological aspects citizenization.The affect of the original social capital on the new generation migrant workers economic aspect citizenization isn't significant.New generation migrant workers' economic aspect citizenization promote their social and psychological aspects citizenization.The social aspect citizenization promote their psychological aspect citizenization.In dealing with the new generation migrant workers citizenization issue,there are two ways.First,the social organizations promote the accumulation of social capital.Labor unions and businesses should provide appeal channels,safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests.In addition,social organizations should increase the social insurance rate,solve their life difficulties,help their children go to school,promote communication with heterogeneous people,create a communication platform and a good organizational environment,promote them to learn the local dialect.Second,they should enhance the effectiveness of social capital,increase urbanization will,strengthen self-identity,raise the level of the citizenization,break through the traditional social relations,expand the communication range,participate in community activities actively,communicate with urban residents initiatively.
