The level of urbanization development is an important indicator of whether a country can achieve modernization.Since the founding of New China, how to transform our backward agricultural country into a socialist modern industrial power has become the main goal that dominated the economic and social development of the time. However,it was subject to historical conditions at that time. The level of transformation has achieved results in the tortuous and difficult exploration, but it has never entered a fast track of healthy and steady development.Since the reform and opening up,the socialist market economy system has gradually formed and is increasingly perfected. The history of population urbanization that failed to develop rapidly in the planned economy era is regrettable. With the gradual acceleration of the reform of the household registration system, the large-scale movement and transfer of the population has entered the fast lane, and the dividends of the labor force that has been quiet in the countryside for a long time have been gradually released. The level of population urbanization has been unprecedentedly increased. The rate exceeded50% for the first time, which means that more than half of the population lives in cities. The basic social form of our country has officially entered urban and rural China from rural China and moved towards urban China. The economic and social development has also made considerable progress. However,in the new era started at the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the major contradictions in society have undergone fundamental changes. The traditional urbanization model that has played an important role and achieved brilliant results is difficult to continue. The scale of urbanization has expanded significantly faster than population urbanization.Growth, the shortcomings and disadvantages of the traditional urbanization model have become more serious in the long-term accumulation, and it is urgent to replace the traditional urbanization model with a new type of urbanization construction.Focusing on the strategic choice of China's economic and social development, how to promote the coordinated flow of population and release the demographic dividend in the process of new-type urbanization has become a major issue in China's road to building a strong socialist modernized country. It has traction for the sustainable and healthy development of our economy. In order to solve the above-mentioned important and urgent problems, this paper reviews and re-understands the classic theories of population urbanization and the mechanism of population migration, introduces the domestic and foreign cutting-edge research results on population migration in the process of urbanization, and analyzes the total population of our country. The development and transformation of the floating population, the process of urbanization of the population, and the mechanism of population migration have determined that the most important task of the new urbanization stage is to continue to raise the level of population urbanization. However, the population migration mechanism system needs to be restructured and empirical from the general market mechanism and policy mechanism in the past toward the development direction and requirements of new urbanization. Therefore, the population migration mechanism system and its four major components in the new urbanization process are proposed.: Endogenous population mechanism, economic development mechanism, geospatial mechanism and social integration mechanism.Especially in the empirical link, this paper summarizes and deduces the Puff's Law,defines the population distribution equilibrium index, and takes it as one of the necessary and sufficient conditions that affect the level of population urbanization in the new-type urbanization stage.Among the indicators of the secondary mechanism of the population's endogenous mechanism,at the same time, this article considers that the development of population urbanization is the only necessary and inadequate condition for the continuous advancement of the new urban process, and it should be taken as the explanatory variable. After verification, the population distribution equilibrium index indeed has a significant positive effect on the level of population urbanization. It is an important explanatory variable for the new type of urbanization to continue to promote population concentration in cities and towns.According to empirical results, this article reviews the The population migration mechanism system proposes an optimization path, and then draws on the successful experience of optimizing the population migration mechanism in the urbanization process of major international developed countries, and finally proposes a specific plan of the population migration mechanism system in the process of new urbanization in China. In the discussion process, this paper uses a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, theoretical research and empirical research, and comparative case analysis. It also combines mathematical tools such as double-log multivariate linear regression and logistic function fitting to verify the proposed method. The fact that the population distribution equilibrium index promotes the urbanization rate of the population has enriched the population flow mechanism system in the process of new-type urbanization and provided a new possible branch direction in optimizing thereasonable flow of population in the process of new-type urbanization in the future.Specifically, this article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is an introduction, which mainly explains the era background of the problem of population migration in the process of new urbanization, determines the core concepts and boundaries discussed in this article, introduces the process of discussion, and possible innovations. The second chapter is the theoretical basis and literature review. It discusses the theoretical methods mainly involved in the discussion of this article and analyzes the related theories of population urbanization and population flow mechanism, recognizing the application of the theory. In addition, frontier literature on population mobility in the process of urbanization at domestic and abroad has been combed..The third chapter is the development and transformation of our floating population, urbanization, and population migration mechanism. It studies the total population, floating population, urbanization, and population migration mechanism in China, and analyzes the basic framework of our current population migration mechanism and the main reasons for its existence problem. The fourth chapter is an empirical study on the optimization of the population mobility mechanism in the process of new urbanization. In the selection of independent and dependent variables,it comprehensively revolves around the core of the new urbanization development, the level of population urbanization. The four major mechanisms, the economic development mechanism, the space utilization mechanism, and the social integration mechanism are the dependent variables, and the logarithmic multiple linear regression method is used to measure the impact factors of each mechanism. The fifth chapter mainly introduces the experience and enlightenment of developed countries in optimizing the population migration mechanism in the process of urbanization.I hope to fully draw on the beneficial experience and practices of the population migration mechanism in the urbanization process of developed countries. The sixth chapter summarizes the preliminary optimization plan of the population mobility mechanism in the process of new urbanization in China, proposes concrete measures that are practical and effective, and finally make some outlook.
