The Research On The Assessment Of Input And Output Efficiency And Competitiveness In Beijing Local Higher Education Institutions

This paper studies the theories and methods about evaluation of higher education at home and abroad set up DEA efficiency evaluation index system and evaluation model aimed at evaluating the input-output efficiencies of Beijing Local Higher Education Institutions. Through the data and calculation, analyzed the colleges and universities which have low input-output efficiency, summed up the problems, and give operable suggestions about how to improve the input-output efficiency of Beijing Local Higher Education Institutions from both whole and the individual view. By analyzing the level of university education, research funding, school classes and school system, used an innovative way to divide Beijing Local Higher Education Institutions into five types. This paper also created the college competitiveness evaluation index system and calculation method which not only focused on both the stock and increment, but also focus one's own efficiency. From a quantity view analyzed the level of competitiveness of Beijing Local Higher Education Institutions, and the overall and different categories ranking of all colleges and universities. After giving the competitive advantage, competitive disadvantage and aspects to be strengthened of all the colleges, this paper proposed detailed, workable suggestions.
