Research On The Effect Of Knowledge Sourcing On Regional Innovation Performance

As the foundation and an important part of the national innovation system,regional innovation system is a necessary measure to implement the innovation-driven development strategy.The continuous improvement of regional innovation performance plays an important role in enhancing regional independent innovation capability,enhancing regional competitiveness and promoting regional economic development.In the era of knowledge economy,knowledge sourcing has become the most valuable resource to promote regional innovation performance.However,due to different methods of measuring knowledge sourcing and measuring regional innovation performance,and the lack of comprehensive consideration of the main effect and interaction effect of knowledge sourcing on the heterogeneity of regional innovation performance,the research conclusions on the relationship between knowledge sourcing and regional innovation performance are quite different,which is not conducive to the high-quality improvement of regional innovation performance.In view of this,this paper studies the relationship between knowledge sourcing and regional innovation performance in the context of formation effect,overall effect,hierarchy effect and threshold effect by combining theoretical exploration and empirical analysis.This has important theoretical value and practical significance for clarifying the impact of knowledge sourcing,promoting regional innovation performance,and promoting the effective implementation of innovation-driven development strategy.The main research contents of this paper are as follows.Firstly,the definition of relevant concepts and theoretical analysis.This paper defines and differentiates the connotations of knowledge sourcing and regional innovation performance.Then it accurately measures and scientifically evaluates the knowledge sourcing and the regional innovation performance.At the same time,it combines regional economics theory,knowledge management theory and resource dependence theory to expound and explain the relationship between knowledge sourcing and regional innovation performance.This paper constructs the overall analysis framework.Secondly,research on the formation effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.Based on the cusp catastrophe model of catastrophe theory and the entropy increase theory of the second law of thermodynamics,this paper makes a theoretical analysis of the formation effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance from the perspective of heterogeneity.This paper constructs the formation effect model,and selects the internal knowledge sourcing as the state variable,the negative entropy produced by the external knowledge sourcing and the entropy increase caused by the internal knowledge sourcing as control variables.This paper reveals the formation path and function process of the influence of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance from the perspective of heterogeneity.Thirdly,research on the overall effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.By constructing panel linear regression models of the overall effect,using the linear regression technique of panel data and taking China's provincial panel data as the research sample,this paper empirically analyzes the overall differentiation effect,which is the main effect and interaction effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.Fourthly,research on the hierarchy effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.In order to further analyze the variation of contribution degree of heterogeneous knowledge sourcing to regional innovation performance at different levels of regional innovation performance,this paper takes China's provincial panel data as the research sample and adopts the panel data quantile regression technique to empirically analyze the hierarchy effect,which is the main effect and interaction effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.Fifthly,research on the threshold effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.Taking into account the heterogeneous situational characteristics of intellectual property protection intensity and digestion and absorption capacity in different regions of China,this paper takes China's provincial panel data as the research sample and uses the panel data threshold regression technique to empirically analyze the threshold effect,which is the main effect and interaction effect of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.Finally,put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the improvement of regional innovation performance based on knowledge sourcing.On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical research,this paper studies relevant strategies to promote regional innovation performance from three aspects: internal knowledge sourcing,external knowledge sourcing and the interaction between the two,and strives for the unification of theory and practice.Through the study,this paper realizes the scientific division and accurate measurement of knowledge sourcing,and reveals the formation path and function process of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance.This paper also analyzes the complex effects of knowledge sourcing on regional innovation performance,and studies the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the improvement of regional innovation performance based on knowledge sourcing.The paper provides the significant support for governments and related departments to make important decisions in innovation-driven development.
