Exploring Value Co-creation Mechanism In Green Supply Chain

At present,with the gradual increase in environmental protection awareness,companies are no longer limited to internal green management,but have gradually turned to the practice of green cooperation between supply chains.Facing the pressure from society,government,consumers,enterprises in the same industry and other aspects,in order to actively respond to the country's "double carbon" goal,that is,to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutralization by 2060,enterprises establish green supply chain through different green management practices,so as to increase the sustainability of enterprise products or services,improve social benefits,help enterprises enhance corporate image,fulfill social responsibilities,and improve the brand influence of enterprises.However,the development of green supply chain still faces three key problems: firstly,the research and application of domestic green supply chain started late,and most of the supply chain practice is carried out by large multinational enterprises.Small and medium-sized enterprises bear the high cost and long return cycle of green governance activities alone,so green governance is still difficult to stimulate the initiative of small and medium-sized enterprises.Secondly,when faced with the high cost of green governance,the core enterprise of supply chain are difficult to come up with an effective green cooperation model of the main enterprises of the supply chain to solve the problem,and there is a lack of favorable cooperation mechanisms between the upstream and downstream of the supply chain and the same industry,to achieve cost sharing and value co-creation.Last,the core enterprises of the supply chain have obvious differences in their perceptions of green development and their management level.It is difficult to form a green conscious behavior of the enterprises,and it is difficult to coordinate the implementation of the green strategy of the supply chain.Therefore,this thesis constructs a three-level supply chain composed of core small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises and their peers,upstream suppliers and downstream retailers,designs different cooperation modes between supply chain partners under the green strategy from the perspective of value co creation,stimulates the enthusiasm of the main enterprises in the supply chain,reduces the cost of green governance for the main enterprises in the supply chain,and improves their green behavior.Based on the mentioned above,this thesis mainly conducts the whole research from the following three aspects:(1)The green management behavior of the core enterprises is extended from the traditional supply chain to the perspective of integrated supply chain.Based on value co-creation theory,the thesis proposes the principle of co-creation of green supply chain,including three dimensions,i.e.co-creation motivation,co-creation mode and co-creation outcomes.(2)Based on the feasibility and internal logic of value co creation demonstrated by the principle,the thesis constructs the dual role value co-creation cooperation mechanism under three different modes: "core manufacturer and supplier,core manufacturer and retailer,core manufacturer and other manufacturers in the same industry” and multiple roles value co-creation of supply chain under different participants including suppliers,retailers,core manufacturing enterprises,the other manufacutuers in the same industry.The objective function is to maximize the benefits,develop the value co creation model,and finally get the cost allocation coefficient of green management under each co-creation mode,so as to determine the cost allocation mode of green governance under different co-creation modes,and achieve win-win and multi win.(3)Empirical research on the effect of the value co-creation mechanism of the green supply chain and the internal and external factors that affect the effect through real data from a certain manufacturing industry to test the effect of the value co-creation model and its interaction with the characteristics of the supply chain or institutional environmental factors for value creation The empirical results show that value co-creation has a positive impact on the different performance of enterprises,which further verifies the effectiveness of the implementation of value co-creation and the formation of corporate green alliances among supply chain entities led by manufacturers under the green strategy.This thesis proposes the green supply chain value co-creation principle based on core enterprises,which combines the co-creation theory and the supply chain theory,the co-creation motivation,the co-creation modes and the co-creation outcomes.This principle indicates the feasibility and the inherent logic of co-creation based on the core enterprises;the thesis develops the corresponding quantitative model based on the principle,further demostrates the feasibility of realizing value co-creation in green supply chain,and constructs the cooperation mechanism among different subjects of green supply chain by solving the optimal green cost sharing coefficient;Finally,the thesis further examines the effect of green supply chain value co-creation on the performance of main enterprises through the real data of the industry,and the core enterprise characteristics and external institutional factors have certain interaction on the co-creation mechanism under the green strategy,and reveals the implementation effect and internal and external factors of the value co-creation mechanism under the green supply chain strategy.The conclusion of this study extends the theory of value co creation from co-creation of enterprises and consumers to the application of co-creation among supply chain,and enriches the research on green management.The conclusion provides the core enterprises of supply chain with specific mechanism of value co-creation on environmental protection issues and guides enterprises to choose different mechanisms,and encourages the government and market supervision departments to issue corresponding policies to encourage the implementation of co-creation mechanism under green strategy,which is of great significance to promote sustainable development.
