As a spatial manifestation of regional economic activities,industrial coagglomeration has received extensive attention from academia in recent years.The background lies in the close connection between industrial coagglomeration and the construction of the current modern industrial system.Since industrialization,the process of industrial copolymerization is essentially the process of forming an industrial system.Industrial copolymerization itself is the spatial manifestation of the process of industrial system formation.This kind of performance,on the one hand,forms an industrial technology system through industrial relevance,that is,through the technology and linkage mechanism of industrial copolymerization to promote the rapid development of the industry and deepen the division of labor mode,and the demand for similar technologies has produced specialized industrial copolymerization.The development of the intermediate input industry is based on the development needs of the industry,and finally the industrial technology system constitutes the technical framework of diversified industrial copolymerization;on the other hand,the industrial space system is formed through spatial correlation.Due to the spatial heterogeneity of regional spatial units,spatial heterogeneity determines the spatial differentiation of industries.The spatial correlation of industries organically integrates industries scattered in different regions,forming a cross-domain industrial chain through crossdomain industrial interaction,and finally constitute the industrial space system with cross-domain industrial integration and cross-domain industrial chain connection.Based on this understanding,we grasp the issue of industrial coagglomeration from the perspective of the formation of an industrial system.This has more theoretical value and practical significance in the context of the current modern industrial system construction.At the beginning of the reform and opening up,the Pearl River Delta City Group,known as the "World Factory",formed a state of a high degree of industrial singleindustry co-aggregation(specialized industrial co-gathering),and became one of the important manufacturing bases in my country and even the world.However,with the improvement of the level of economic development and the continuous acceleration of the process of globalization,the economic environment in the Pearl River Delta region has changed,and the transformation of the industrial structure is continuing.The dual transfer strategy(industry transfer and labor transfer)implemented in 2005 not only promoted the development and agglomeration of industries in the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration(specialized industry gathering),but also transferred some industries from the core cities to the peripheral areas of the Pearl River Delta.Industry drives the development of the service industry,making the service industry a new driving force for the development of the regional economy.The industrial structure is gradually converging to the industrial sector and the service sector,especially the coaggregation of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry(diversified industry convergence)Development,the collaborative supporting model continues to deepen.The development of the modern industrial system with urban agglomerations as the carrier has been deeply integrated with the deepening reform of the national economy.Can we explore the growth context of urban agglomeration industry coagglomeration,improve the modern industrial system,and enable China's economy to continue to achieve steady growth? This has become the focus of the theoretical circles.The problem,and the development process of industrial coagglomeration in the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration undoubtedly provides research space for in-depth exploration of this problem.A series of studies on this core issue have been launched,such as whether industrial copolymerization can be measured and how to measure it? Does industrial coagglomeration inevitably promote the highquality development of the regional economy? What are the effects of industrial coagglomeration on the construction of a modern industrial system? The in-depth exploration of these issues is the origin of this research,and it is also the original intention of this research with the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration as a sample.This article "Research on the Spatial Effects of Industrial Coagglomeration in the Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration on Economic Growth" takes the new industrial spatial pattern formed by industrial coagglomeration as the starting point,and focuses on the research background of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration and my country's economic development,and faces the reality of coordinated regional economic development.Questions,put the interactive relationship between industry and space into the regional development to investigate,deeply explore the internal linkage mechanism of industrial coagglomeration and the coordinated development of the regional economy,and calculate the industrial coagglomeration,the industrial spatial structure of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration,and the impact of industrial coagglomeration on the economy.A combination of theory and empirical research is carried out on the impact of growth and economic efficiency,as well as the interaction between industrial coagglomeration and the modern industrial system.The theoretical analysis framework of "modern industrial system—industrial coagglomeration—coordinated development of urban agglomeration economy" was constructed,focusing on the analysis of the spatial form of industrial coagglomeration,the impact of industrial coagglomeration and economic growth,and the spatial effect of industrial coagglomeration and total factor productivity.Taking the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration as a model,the spatial distribution of specialized and diversified industries and the in-depth analysis of the industrial system have been carried out,providing a new theoretical analysis perspective for the research on related topics of industrial coagglomeration to promote the coordinated development of the regional economy.Based on the above understanding,this research work and conclusions focus on the following aspects:First,the concept analysis and theoretical exploration of industrial coagglomeration,urban agglomeration,industrial system and modern industrial system.Industrial copolymerization is essentially the spatial manifestation of the formation of the industrial system since industrialization,and this process itself is the formation process of the industrial system.The industrial system includes two levels: the industrial technology system and the industrial space system.It is the internal connection mechanism of all industries in terms of technological and spatial correlation,and industrial coagglomeration is a comprehensive manifestation of their technological and spatial correlation.To this end,we will discuss the theory of industrial agglomeration,spatial economics,urban agglomeration and modern industrial system from two aspects: industrial technology system and space system.Second,analysis of the mechanism of industrial copolymerization on economic growth.Industrial coagglomeration promotes the innovation of the industrial system of urban agglomerations through its agglomeration and diffusion effects,and forms a multiplier effect for the economic growth and scale expansion of cities and urban agglomerations.First of all,the relevance of industrial coagglomeration and industrial integration has promoted the development of new industries.Under the combined effect of industrial coagglomeration and industrial integration,the industrial system of urban agglomerations has been innovated,and the development of industries has improved the economic benefits of urban agglomerations.Secondly,the spatial evolution of the industrial chain is the basis for the construction of the modern industrial system of urban agglomerations,as well as the organic unity of the further expansion and deepening of the connotation and spatial scope of the industrial chain,and the spatial evolution of the industrial chain has an interactive relationship with the industrial coagglomeration of urban agglomerations,specialized urban agglomeration,and improve the regional division of labor and cooperation mechanism of the different functional attributes of the cities in the urban agglomeration.In addition,the diffusion effect of the industrial chain can also promote the horizontal expansion of the industrial chain.The congestion effect of industrial coagglomeration makes the development of the industrial chain limited by the level of division of labor and factor endowments in the regional space,forming the diffusion effect of the industrial chain.Finally,diversified industries are scattered in different regions.These industries have both vertical links and horizontal complementary relationships.Under the influence of the multiplier effect of the industrial coagglomeration of urban agglomerations,industries can be integrated and developed,and cross-regional industrial chains will be further integrated.It further coordinated the development of the industry,upgraded the industrial structure,improved the construction of the regional industrial chain and the integration of the modern industrial system of urban agglomerations,met the strategic requirements of regional integration,and made it possible for the coordinated development of the regional economy and the improvement of productivity.Third,the visual presentation and spatial evolution analysis of the industrial coagglomeration of urban agglomerations.From static space to continuous space,from specialized industrial co-convergence to diversified industrial co-convergence,this research makes up for the deficiencies of the previous research focusing on only one aspect.Among them,the spatial layout and development trend of specialized industrial co-convergence presented by the optimal transmission distance algorithm of machine learning has become a concrete method for visually presenting the industrial coconvergence of urban agglomerations.It is also a method attempt in this study that is different from previous similar studies.In terms of explanatory effects,the spatial economic model of diversified industrial coagglomeration constructed in this study effectively explains the heterogeneous spatial regional characteristics of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration and the spatial dependence of key variables,effectively avoiding the traditional measurement model factors.Ignore the analysis bias caused by spatial effects.The research results show that the industrial convergence of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration has a trend of coordinated development impact of diversified industrial coconvergence on economic growth has spatial spillover effects and nonlinear impact mechanisms,which also verifies the existence of the "Williamson Hypothesis".Further analysis revealed that the degree of opening-up,manufacturing agglomeration,and producer service agglomeration have a non-linear restraint mechanism on economic growth,and the threshold variable is GDP per capita.The study believes that moderate control of the development level of the three variables will be more beneficial for industrial coagglomeration to promote regional economic growth.Fourth,the research on the impact of industrial coagglomeration in urban agglomerations on total factor productivity.This study believes that the spatial effect of diversified industrial copolymerization not only affects the improvement of total factor productivity,but also affects its constituent elements.For this reason,the DEAMalmquist index and space for the relationship between diversified industrial copolymerization and total factor productivity have been established.The econometric model measures and analyzes the total factor productivity growth and characteristics of cities in the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration and the entire region,examines the ways in which industrial coagglomeration affects total factor productivity and spatial spillover effects,and explores the influence of industrial coagglomeration on total factor productivity.The mechanism of action.The empirical analysis found that the total factor productivity of the Pearl River Delta has obvious spatial spillover effects,and exhibits slowing growth efficiency and insufficient motivation.However,industrial coagglomeration has had a positive effect on the improvement of local production efficiency and the production efficiency of neighboring regions.Further analysis of the decomposing factors found that industrial copolymerization mainly affects the technical efficiency,technological on economic growth into the research framework of spatial economics,and established a spatial economic model of diversified industrial co-convergence.Empirical tests were conducted on gender,spatial dependence,and restraint mechanisms.Taking into account that industrial copolymerization also has a nonlinear impact on economic growth,a nonlinear threshold regression model was established to examine the constraints of related threshold variables on the effects of diversified industrial copolymerization on economic growth.condition.The study found that industrial co-gathering can
