With the knowledge economy as the main driving force to promote the development of the world economy, knowledge innovation has increasingly become an important way to upgrade and enhance the competitiveness of cities in China. As the forefront of China's reform and opening up the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta,high-tech industry agglomeration for its knowledge innovation provides an important carrier, knowledge spillover effect in turn promote the two regions of high-tech industry agglomeration. The knowledge spillovers of high-tech industry agglomeration can speed up the transformation of regional economic development mode, improve the efficiency of regional knowledge innovation and promote regional coordinated development. Its research has become a hot issue in government, society and academia.Based on the theory of knowledge spillovers and the theory of knowledge gathering in high-tech industry, this paper analyzes the evolution process of high-tech industry agglomeration in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta by using GIS technology.(1)The high-tech industry gathering in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta is better than that of the national one,and the core of the high-tech industry in the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta is higher than that of the national one.The results are as follows:(1)And Shanghai, respectively,in their respective regions in the absolute level of high concentration, and other cities opened a large gap.(2)The Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta hightech industry resource investment concentrated in their respective core areas.(3)The two regions of the high-tech industry knowledge innovation center by their respective core cities in the geographical center of the East, the Pearl River Delta show year by year trend, the Yangtze River Delta is the year to move northwest.(4)The Pearl River Delta high-tech industry presents a sustained gathering situation, forming a distinctive "center-edge" distribution of the Yangtze River Delta is the first to disperse after the situation, the formation of two high-tech industry knowledge innovation "growth zone."(5)The knowledge spillover of high-tech industry in the two regions coincides with the overflow of cities with small economic distance, and the spatial error model of spatial weight matrix established by economic distance is the best.(6)The knowledge spillover effects of high-tech industry agglomeration in both regions are positive and significant. The knowledge spillover effect of the Yangtze River Delta is better than that of the Pearl River Delta, but the MAR spillover effect and Porter spillover effect are not significant in both regions, and the high-tech industry The congestion has been more serious "suppression" of knowledge innovation.(7)Both R&D capital investment and R&D human capital investment have positive impact on the knowledge innovation of high-tech industry agglomeration, while foreign R&D investment is negative.Based on the above empirical results, this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the knowledge innovation and spillover of high-tech industry agglomeration in the two regions: strengthen the spatial connection of regional knowledge innovation;optimize the contribution of R&D talents to regional knowledge innovation;strengthen R&D capital investment and optimize R&D Capital structure;handle the balance of high-paying technology gathering and regional knowledge innovation.
