| At present,China's economy has entered a new normal stage,which shows a shift from high-speed growth to high-quality development.Therefore,in the high-quality development stage.At present,the study of entrepreneurship has gradually shifted from the micro-individual level to the macro-regional level,and the related research also gradually turns from the influence of entrepreneurship on the “quantity” of economic growth to the influence of entrepreneurship on the “quality” of economic growth.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to achieve high-quality development through making an analysis on the influence of entrepreneurship on the economic growth quality.On the basis of measuring the current situation of entrepreneurship and China's regional economic growth quality,this paper analyzes the influencing mechanism of entrepreneurship on the economic growth quality by introducing the key element of business climate.It combines the agglomeration effect of regional economic growth quality with the spatial characteristics of entrepreneurship to explore the spatial spillover effects of entrepreneurship impacting on the regional economic growth quality.The research contents include seven chapters.The first chapter is introduction.This chapter introduces the background,significance,problems,methods,technical route,content structure and innovation points of the study.The second chapter is literature review and theories foundation.This chapter reviews the literatures and theories of entrepreneurship,economic growth quality and the influencing of entrepreneurship on the economic growth quality.The third chapter is the measurement of China's entrepreneurship and the regional economic growth quality.This chapter chooses thirty regions of China(the provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government excluding the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China,the Macao Special Administrative Region,the Taiwan Province and the Tibet autonomous region of China)as samples,and measures the development level of entrepreneurship and the regional economic growth quality in China from 2005 to 2016.The fourth chapter is analysis of influencing mechanism of entrepreneurship on the regional economic growth quality.Taking the business climate as the starting point,this chapter puts forward the relevant research hypotheses about the impact of entrepreneurship on the regional economic growth quality,and chooses the marketization index to measure the business climate.Since the relevant data is updated from 2008 to 2014,the paper takes thirty regions of China(the provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government excluding the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China,the Macao Special Administrative Region,the Taiwan Province and the Tibet autonomous region of China)from 2008 to 2014,and empirically tests the impact of entrepreneurship on the economic growth quality,and the moderating role of business climate in the process of the impact of entrepreneurship on the economic growth quality.The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis of the influence of entrepreneurship on the regional economic growth quality in China.This chapter chooses thirty regions of China(the provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government excluding the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China,the Macao Special Administrative Region,the Taiwan Province and the Tibet autonomous region of China)as samples,and examines the spatial spillover effects of entrepreneurship on the regional economic growth quality in China from 2005 to 2016.The sixth chapter is the analysis of the differences of the influence of entrepreneurship on the regional economic growth quality in China based on spatial view.This chapter examines and compares the differences of the influence of entrepreneurship on the economic growth quality in eastern,northeastern,central and western region from 2005 to 2016.The seventh chapter is research conclusions and prospects.This chapter summarizes the conclusions,and puts forward management enlightenments and research limitations.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows.(1)This study measures entrepreneurship from two dimensions: innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit,and selects the number of patent applications authorized and the private sector employment rate as indicators of innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit.From the overall point of view,the innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit in China are showing an upward trend year by year.From a regional perspective,the development of entrepreneurship in China is out of balance,showing significant regional differences and polarization.The entrepreneurship in the eastern regions has been developing better year by year,and the entrepreneurship in the mid-western regions has a slow growth type with a small size and a low growth rate,while the entrepreneurship in the northeast regions has a slow growth rate or even showed a negative growth phenomenon.(2)This study explains regional differences in the quality of economic growth and explains the impact of entrepreneurship by introducing the business climate.Firstly,the evaluation index system of the economic growth quality in China including 25 basic indexes is established from four dimensions(subsystems)of economic growth efficiency,economic growth structure,economic growth achievement and economic growth environment.Then,the economic growth quality in China is estimated.It is found that the overall quality index of economic growth in China from 2005 to 2016 showing a steady upward trend,as well as the economic growth efficiency index,the economic growth achievement index and the economic growth environment index show the similar upward trend.The contribution of economic growth environment to the improvement of the economic growth quality is the largest.While,the index of economic growth structure is declining,and contrary to the change of economic growth quality.It reflects that the improvement and promotion of people's livelihood,welfare achievements,resource utilization and environmental protection have become important factors driving the improvement of the economic growth quality,however,the unbalance of industrial structure,investment and consumption structure and open economic structure has become the main factor to restrain the improvement of the economic growth quality.From a regional perspective,the index of economic growth quality and the development level of the four sub-system indexes of Shanghai,Beijing,Guangdong Province,Jiangsu Province,Zhejiang Province and some other regions are in the leading positions,and the relative indexes of the southeast regions are obviously better than those of the northeast regions and the mid-western regions.The economic growth quality index of northeast regionals and four major sub-system indexes have fluctuated and declined,in particular,the weak economic growth environment and the weak economic growth structure have led to a slowdown in the improvement of the economic growth quality.The economic growth quality index and four sub-system indexes of mid-western regions are at low levels,and they are moving more smoothly.Secondly,introducing the perspective of business climate and making regression analysis,it is found that innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit both have a significant role in promoting the regional economic growth quality in China through regression analysis.Business climate has a moderating effect between entrepreneurship(innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit)and the regional economic growth quality,as well as the business climate has a positively moderating in the relationship between entrepreneurship(innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit)and the regional economic growth quality,that is,with the optimization of regional business climate,entrepreneurship has a greater role in promoting the quality of regional economic growth.(3)It is found that the growth rate of regional economic growth quality in China has a large gap,and entrepreneurship has spatial spillover effect.In terms of the economic growth quality,the regions that rose most are Hunan Province,Inner Mongolia,Henan Province and Chongqing Municipality,by contrast,Hainan Province,Hebei Province,Shanxi Province and the Xinjiang autonomous region have seen their economic growth quality rankings drop significantly,and the disparity in the economic growth quality among regions in China has been widening and polarization is more serious.From the perspective of the spatial evolution of the economic growth quality in China,the economic growth quality in China shows a trend of gradual increase from the inland areas in the west to the coastal areas in the east,and the economic growth quality in the adjacent regions is similar.There is a certain degree of spatial agglomeration.The evolution of the economic growth quality in China can be divided into three categories,which are “ascending evolution”,“same-grade evolution” and “lagging evolution”,and the ratio of these three categories is6:13:11.The spatial evolution characteristics of economic growth quality of different regions in China show great differences,and the spatial evolution of economic growth quality has geographical concentration to some extent.To analyze the spatial correlation of the economic growth quality in China,Moran's I of the regional economic growth quality from 2005 to 2016 is greater than 0,and there is a positive spatial correlation between the economic growth quality in China.The local spatial autocorrelation of the economic growth quality can be divided into horizontal evolution,isotopic evolution,vertical evolution and multiple evolution,and the ratio of these four ones is 6:15:2:7,the local spatial autocorrelation of the economic growth quality has more isotopic evolution,the number of vertical evolution is the least,and the local spatial autocorrelation aggregation of the regional economic growth quality in China is relatively stable.Furthermore,it is found that innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit have spatial spillover effect on the quality of regional economic growth.Innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit have significant positive influences on the quality of regional economic growth.The quality of regional economic growth is influenced not only by innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit in the region,but also by innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit in neighboring regions,and the influences of entrepreneurial spirit is higher than the influence of innovation spirit on the regional economic growth quality.If we do not consider the space factors,we will underestimate the influences of innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit on the quality of regional economic growth.(4)The innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit have significant influences on the economic growth quality in eastern,northeast,central and western regions at different levels.The coefficients of innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit affecting the economic growth quality in the eastern region are 0.0158 and 3.636 respectively.There is no spatial spillover effects of innovation spirit in the eastern region,but there is space spillover effect in entrepreneurial spirit.The coefficients of and entrepreneurial spirit affecting the economic growth quality in northeast regions are respectively 0.177 and 2.853.The innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit in northeast regions have no spatial spillover effects.The coefficients of innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit affecting the economic growth quality in central regions are 0.123 and 3.057,and in western regions are 0.493 and 1.252.The innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit of the central and western regions have the space spillover effect.This study has made some contributions from the aspects of index system construction,regional influence mechanism and business climate effect.This research constructs the evaluation index system of China's economic growth quality from the four aspects of economic growth efficiency,economic growth structure,economic growth achievement and economic growth environment,which deepens the investigation of the“quality” of economic growth.Taking the business climate as the key point,it is found that the business climate has a positively moderating effect on the improvement of regional economic growth quality by entrepreneurship,thus revealing the influencing mechanism of entrepreneurship on economic growth quality,and providing a theoretical framework for analyzing the mechanism of entrepreneurship's influence on regional economic quality.In addition,this study breaks through the geographical limitations of entrepreneurship and explores the influence of entrepreneurship on China's regional economic growth quality by introducing spatial correlation.Based on the analysis of the spatial evolution characteristics of China's regional economic growth quality,this study empirically tested the spatial spillover effects of entrepreneurship affecting the quality of China's regional economic growth from the perspectives of direct effect,indirect effect and total effect by using the spatial Durbin model.It provides a basis for explaining the differences in China's regional economic growth and provides a practical reference for the “optimizing business climate and promoting entrepreneurship” proposed by the CPC Central Committee through analyzing and comparing the differences between the four regions in China(eastern region,northeast region,central region and western region)in terms of spatial spillover effects. |
