| Since the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period,high-end equipment manufacturing(HEM)industry has achieved rapid development with the strong support of the government,but it still has problems such as the incomplete mastery of key technologies,the excess production capacity of medium-grade and lowgrade products but lack of high-grade products,and the weak international competitiveness of large enterprise groups.It is necessary for HEM enterprises to further increase investment in technological innovation in order to improve their independent innovation capabilities.However,the technological innovation of HEM enterprises manifests as the extensive innovation management mode with large input and low output,and overreliance on scale effect.If HEM enterprises want to achieve the transformation from ‘Made in China’ to ‘Created in China’,how to reasonably adopt organizational innovation has become an important issue to be solved urgently.Technological innovation,especially major technological innovation of HEM enterprises,usually goes through the long-term technological accumulation,which needs the coordination and the support of organizational innovation to improve innovation efficiency and guarantee innovation success.It is difficult for enterprises to cope with environmental changes only by technological innovation.Organizational innovation has become an important driving force to promote the enterprise development.The evolution process of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises is a dynamic process,in which enterprises explore the unknown and constantly implement novel behaviors.On the basis of researching on the complex and dynamic evolution process of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises by chaos theory,this thesis analyzes how the external environment factors,the organizational environment factors and the individual factors of the top manager interact with one another,and jointly drive the chaotic evolution process of enterprise organizational innovation,so as to explore organizational innovation choices of HEM enterprises in complex context.Through the review of related researches on organizational innovation evolution and chaos theory application in organizational innovation both at home and abroad,considering the characteristics and the organizational innovation properties of HEM enterprises,this thesis researches on the evolution mechanism of enterprise organizational innovation by using chaos theory,evolution theory of organizational innovation,ecology,core-periphery theory,enterprise management theory,population competition model,chaos identification methods,hierarchical regression analysis method,fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis method,case study method and other research methods.The specific contents of the research include:Based on the analysis of the characteristics and the organizational innovation attributes of HEM enterprises,the organizational innovation types of HEM enterprises are divided from the evolution perspective,the theorical model of the punctuated equilibrium evolution process of enterprise organizational innovation is constructed,the characteristics of organizational innovation evolution are analyzed,and the latently chaotic evolution process of organizational innovation is dissected.The evolution model of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises is constructed based on the population competition model.By analyzing the stabilities and the evolution trends of equilibrium points,it is found that when the initial state of innovation evolution appears near the tracks entering the saddle point,its slight change will lead to a huge gap in the final evolution states.The Lyapunov index method is used to identify that the organizational innovation evolution is chaotic.The innovation evolution model is used to simulate the chaotic evolution process of enterprise organizational innovation,and the chaotic evolution process of organizational innovation is deeply analyzed.Based on Chinese context,this thesis researches on the effect of single factor from the environmental level,the organizational level and the individual level of the top manager on the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises,and constructs the influencing effect model of multi-level factors on the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises.On the basis of the research design,after testing the reliability and the validity of recovery questionnaires,the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation is quantitatively measured,the hierarchical regression analysis method is used to validate influencing effects of multi-level factors on the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises with selected sample enterprise data,and validation results are analyzed and discussed in detail.On the basis of constructing the theoretical framework of the driving effect of the multi-level-factor configuration on the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprise,this thesis uses selected sample enterprise data and the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis method to analyze factors from the environmental level,the organizational level and the individual level of the top manager,which influence the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprise.Through necessity analysis of single factor,combination analysis of conditional variables,configuration analysis of core and peripheral factors and robustness test of factor configurations,it puts forward the necessary condition and four multi-level-factor configurations that drive the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises,and carries on the thorough analysis to the results.Typical companies are selected as cases for application research.Firstly,the time series describing the evolution process of organizational innovation of A Company is constructed by its longitudinal survey data.On the basis of the phase space reconstruction of the time series,the correlation dimension method and the Lyapunov index method are used to identify that the evolution process of company organizational innovation is chaotic.The chaotic evolution process of organizational innovation of A Company is divided into four periods.The chaotic evolution mechanism of company organizational innovation is validated.Secondly,the influencing mechanism and the driving mechanism of the chaotic evolution of company organizational innovation are further validated by using the cross-sectional data of four typical companies from different sub-industries of HEM industry.According to the case validation results,the control strategies of the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises are proposed.This thesis researches on the complex and dynamic evolution process of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises from the perspective of chaos theory,which expands evolution theory of organizational innovation.In the construction of the influencing effect model of multi-level factors on the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises,the characteristics and the organizational innovation properties of HEM enterprises are comprehensively considered,and influencing effects of special factors of Chinese enterprises on the chaotic evolution of enterprise organizational innovation are gotten more attention,which enrich evolution theory of organizational innovation in Chinese context.The necessary condition and the multi-level-factor configurations that drive the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation of HEM enterprises are proposed,which enrich evolution theory of organizational innovation in complex context.The research results of this thesis are conducive to HEM enterprises to clarify the evolution status of their organizational innovation,and provide theoretical basis and practical reference for them to rationally allocate innovation resources and effectively control the chaotic evolution of organizational innovation based on different contexts. |
