The high-end equipment manufacturing industry is closely related to other industries,and it is an inevitable place for countries to compete in the world.At present,Chinese high equipment manufacturing industry is in the growth stage.Compared with developed countries,there is still a gap in technological innovation.Intellectual property rights play an increasingly important role in enterprise innovation.Intellectual property protection is an important part of improving the property rights system.Effective intellectual property protection can stimulate the creative enthusiasm of employees,enhance the technological innovation ability of enterprises,and improve innovation performance and competitive advantage to some extent.Therefore,it is very important to study the influence mechanism of intellectual property protection ability on innovation performance of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises.This paper researches on the influence mechanism of intellectual property protection ability on innovation performance of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises.Based on the theories of intellectual property protection ability,innovation performance,innovation willingness and innovation atmosphere,this paper defines the concepts and dimensions of intellectual property protection,innovation performance,innovation willingness and innovation atmosphere.Based on the theory of planned behavior and attitude change,this paper innovatively introduces innovation will as the mediating variable and innovation atmosphere as the moderating variable,analyzes the influence of intellectual property protection ability on innovation performance directly,indirectly under the mediating effect of innovation will and under the moderating of innovation atmosphere,constructs the conceptual model among variables,and puts forward the corresponding research hypotheses.Secondly,design the scale,collect the questionnaire data,and test the correlations among variables,mediating role and moderating role on the basis of data reliability and validity test.Using Fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis to analyze the influence of intellectual property protection capacity on innovation performance,test the data,construct the truth table and the configuration of antecedent conditions,and get the combination of conditions under different paths that affect innovation performance.The empirical results show that the intellectual property protection ability of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises has a significant role in promoting innovation performance,among which the impact of protection mechanism on innovation performance is more significant than that of protection intensity and protection timeliness,and the combination of protection intensity,protection mechanism and protection timeliness can have an impact on Innovation performance.Innovation willingness plays a partial mediating role in the process of the impact of intellectual property protection ability on innovation performance.Innovation atmosphere can significantly moderate the mediating role of innovation willingness between intellectual property protection ability and innovation performance of high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises.The innovation atmosphere can not only affect the innovation performance alone,but also affect the innovation performance with the condition combinations of innovation intention and timeliness of intellectual property protection.Finally,combined with the results of the analysis,suggestions are put forward to improve the protection ability and innovation performance of intellectual property from three aspects: the establishment of protection system,the standardized management of intellectual property and the support of employees' innovation.
