In recent years,multi-agent development the inter-organization cooperation has become one of the important topics of concern in the engineering field.Its production and development are closely related to the integration of new construction technologies such as BIM in the engineering field and the implementation of digital construction.However,existing studies have not incorporated the two of them into a research framework to analyze the relationship between them.As a result,relevant studies have not paid enough attention to the essential connotation of BIM technology as an "inter-organizational technology",which has led to BIM technology has encountered larger organizational obstacles in the application process to a certain extent.In view of this shortcoming,this study takes the mutual construction relationship between BIM technology and engineering project organization as an entry point,and studies the questions of "why it’s necessary to build an inter-organizational collaboration model in the context of applying BIM" and "how to build it".Through the study,the pre-causes,models and value creation mechanism of inter-organizational cooperation under the application BIM have been explained,and the management countermeasures had analyzed.The specific research process and related conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the perspective of technology and organizational mutual construction theory,the mutual construction mechanism between the logical structure of BIM and the organizational structure using BIM is discussed.This demonstrates the necessity and path of constructing the inter-organizational collaboration model of engineering projects in the context of applying BIM.Based on this discussion,it is concluded that the organizational model of engineering projects using BIM technology has new characteristics,including the expansion of inter-organizational cooperation between the main bodies,the evolution from low-level cooperation to high-level integration,and the vertical(hierarchical)relationship to flat(Non-hierarchical)relationship change,from zero-sum game to positive-sum game relationship(2)The formation and evolution of the inter-organizational cooperation model is regarded as the decision of whether to participate in cooperation based on the interorganizational cooperation conditions and changes made by the managers of each participant.An empirical study was conducted on the behavioral process of managers evaluating inter-organizational cooperation opportunities by adopting the method of strategy capture.The research conclusions show that the cognitive elements of matching,interactivity and win-win have a significant impact on the willingness to participate in the main alliance.Based on this,a decision-making behavior model for managers to evaluate inter-organizational cooperation opportunities is constructed.In summary,the research clarifies the willingness and decision-making behavior of multi-agent and interorganization cooperation in the context of applying BIM,which lays the foundation for the construction of the model.(3)Based on the results of the research on willingness to cooperate and decisionmaking behavior,the construction logic of the inter-organizational cooperation model can be summarized as a structure chain of "evaluation→ decision→ execution→evaluation...→execution".Among them,the application of BIM technology is the realistic starting point of the inter-organizational cooperation model,and the pursuit of value added is the internal driving force of multi-agent inter-organization cooperation.Based on the Logistic ecological model,the evolution process of the alliance from formation,growth,to maturity and decline is described.On this basis,the system construction problem of the inter-organization cooperation model is studied from the three key elements of constructing value-creating and win-win cooperation,inter-organizational partnership,signing relational multi-party contracts,and forming an inter-organizational cooperation team.It has condensed the functional positioning of the inter-organizational cooperation model as an institutional arrangement,resource distribution center,and decision-making platform,laying a foundation for the study of its value creation mechanism.(4)Based on the theory of economic rent,combined with its functional positioning,discussed the value creation mechanism and competitive advantages of the interorganizational cooperation model.The value created by it is summarized as network rent,which includes the saving of transaction costs,the Ricardo rent based on resource recognition,the Penrose rent based on capacity construction,and the relationship rent based on relationship establishment.And further analyzed the evolution characteristics of the economic rent of the inter-organizational cooperation model at different development stages.It proves that the formation and development of the multi-agent and interorganization cooperation model is not "accidental",but the result of the common pursuit of value by the project participants driven by the value co-creation order parameters.(5)The basic model calculation method of the causality diagram system is used to reveal the 3 types of system basic models hidden in the inter-organizational integrated construction alliance system.By analyzing the 18 negative feedback loops and 6 types of uncoordinated causal chains that constitute the basic model of the system,it proposes that accumulate experience to enhance inter-organizational recognition,develop strength equivalence,emphasize process control of alliance cooperation,and strengthen trustbased contracts 6 aspects of management countermeasures include management,increasing relationship asset investment in cooperation,and fostering a win-win value pursuit.The above-mentioned research system
