Study On The Life Inheritance Of Local Legend Culture

The legend of Lu Yigu was first collected in Liu Xiang’s Biography of Liennu in the Western Han Dynasty.It tells the story of Lu Yigu who "gave up all her nephews"and "retreated from the enemy soldiers".The concept of "righteousness" and "filial piety" contained in it and the image of Lu Yigu as an ordinary woman made the legend of Lu Yigu spread widely and was included in ancient books.This national legend text,which is based on Chinese civilization,is accepted by people in different places and shows local characteristics.Lu Yigu,known as "Grandma Lu Gu" in the county of Luxi Chiping,is a prestigious female deity that attracts many people to worship and is a symbolic cultural symbol in Luxi.The legend of Lu Yigu permeates every aspect of life in the west of Shandong,and the process of its localization is the process of its mutual construction with the local grassroots life.In previous studies,oral texts,local scenery and landscape narration were regarded as the main manifestations of the inheritance of legends in one place.In fact,the inheritance of legends has more diversified and more profound content.It is of great significance to expand the study of folklore and even folklore to focus on how local people carry out practical activities around legend traditions and to understand the value of local legends as shared cultural traditions shared by community people from the perspective of people’s life.The connection between local legend and people’s life is manifested in many aspects:the local imprinting that combines legend with local landscape to shape legend;Construct the relationship between gods;Combining the legend theme with the local concept to form the interpretive text that conforms to the local cultural tradition;Building public living places such as temples and bazaars and sharing local public life in them;Through the holding of temple fair activities,some rituals that should be held in families can be carried out in public activities,so that people have the physical practice process of legend culture;The competition for the right of discourse of legend culture confirms the value of legend culture from another Angle,and forms a unique way of legend inheritance.The above aspects are the manifestation of the inheritance of the legend of Luyigu in the west of Shandong Province.Legend has it that culture exists in various ways in the daily life of local people.The reason why local legends become the core symbol of local social appeal and cohesion is precisely because legends are integrated into the daily life of local people and become part of their lives.The process of people’s identification and use of legends is the process of legend inheritance.Legends cannot be truly inherited without life.Taking "life inheritance" as an instrumental concept,this paper discusses how the legend of Lu Yigu is propagated and applied in the west Luxi region,and explores how the legend penetrates into local public life and family life from the perspective of People’s Daily life and has rich meaning.
