This paper attempts to make a comprehensive and in-depth study on the calligraphy of inkstone inscription in the Qing Dynasty,based on a large number of catalogue materials,it makes a detailed study on the concepts,sources and characteristics of inkstone inscription calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty,its prosperous background,the communication among scholars,the style of inkstone inscription calligraphy,value and other aspects,it can be divided into seven parts:The first part explains the reasons for the topic selection,the review of the research status,research objectives,content and methods.The second part explored the concepts,sources and characteristics of inkstone inscription calligraphy,and makes a necessary explanation of the relationship between inkstone,inscription,inkstone inscription,inkstone inscription calligraphy.The third part discusses the four main reasons for the prosperity and development of inkstone inscription calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty: the promotion of inkstone inscription calligraphy by the flourishing of stone and seal carving,the participation of literati,the intervention of the court and the influence of calligraphy style.The fourth part explore the literati communication of inkstone inscriptions calligraphy in Qing Dynasty,analyze the relationship between Gao Fenghan and the History of Inkstone,studies the reasons,methods and significance of Wang Xiang’s re-copying of Gao Feng Han’s History of Inkstone,and investigate Shen Shiyou’s cooperation relationship from Shen Shi Yan Lin,and see the details of Zhang Tingji’s inkstone collection from the Ancient Artifacts Collected in Qing Yi Ge,as well as the reasons why Ji Yun invited others to write for him and the relationship between related ghostwriters.The fifth part studies the calligraphy style of inkstone inscriptions in Qing Dynasty,specifically analyzes the composition,differences and characteristics of the calligraphy of the literati inkstone inscriptions,and detailed study of the palace inkstone inscription calligraphy style of the different,Xi Qing Inkstone Spectrum as an example,meanwhile,it deeply investigates the calligraphic characteristics of Stone Drum Inkstone,Hundred Han Tablet Inkstone and Brick Inkstone,finally,the relationship between inkstone figure and calligraphy layout is clarified.The sixth part explores the literature value,literary value and the value of calligraphy history of inkstone inscription calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty.The seventh part summarizes the research content of inkstone inscription calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty,and puts forward a new direction for further research in the future.
