| Fei Nianci was a well-known calligrapher and a collector of inscription and inscription in Jiangsu area in the late Qing Dynasty.He was elected to the Imperial College and ranked the sixth in the Imperial Examination.He served in the Imperial Academy with outstanding talent and was called "three major Bachelor of the Imperial Academy" with Jiang Biao and Wen Tingshi.Lifelong love calligraphy and Inscription on a tablet.Weng Tonghe,Wu Dacheng,wu changshuo,Ye Changchi,Chu De Yi,Miao Quan Sun,Gu Linshi,Yu Yue are his friends and teachers.This paper will study Fei Nianci’s life and achievements,the evolution of calligraphy,inscription collection and book learning ideas,calligraphy intercourse four chapters.Firstly,Fei Nianci is introduced in detail from three aspects: family background,life experience and cultural achievements.The second is to investigate and analyze the evolution of Fei Nianci’s calligraphy style in different periods,and grasp the details and reasons of the transformation of his stele into the post according to the large amount of ink left by Fei Nianci.The third is to sort out Fei Nianci’s collection of tablets and inscriptions and postscripts,and on this basis to explore Fei Nianci’s concept of learning books.The last part is to investigate Fei Nianci’s calligraphic intercourse,mainly examining Fei Nianci’s calligraphic intercourse with calligraphic masters and philosophers of stone and stone.This paper is a case study of Fei Nianci,trying to outline a rich and comprehensive calligrapher and a collector of steles. |
