The Political Identity Of People In Wenchuan Massive Earthquake Disaster Areas

Political identity is the important basis of governing the country and prerequisite for realizing the national development and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Major risks and challenges are the severe test to the Communist Party of China.However,they are important juncture to highlight the socialist system superiority,firm and improve the people’s confidence,consolidate and enhance people’s political identity.The Wenchuan massive earthquake is an earthquake disaster which is rarely seen since the founding of new China.In the practice of coping with major risks and challenges brought by the earthquake disasters,Communist Party of China and the Chinese Government actively faced the risks and effectively defused the crisis.The excellent performance powerfully strengthens the political identity of the people in the disaster-stricken areas and the whole nation.The political identity of the people in the disaster-stricken areas is a microcosm of the socialism with Chinese characteristics political identity,and deeply reflect the experience and problems of the people’s political identity in long-term practice of dealing with major risks and challenges.In the new historical position and the context of the national and international risks and challenges,to research the political identity of the people in the disaster-stricken areas will help us to clear the theoretical logic and practical path of enhancing people’s political identity in dealing with major risks and challenges.Using the methods of oral history and the qualitative approach in grounded theory way,the paper investigates the political identity of the people in disaster areas and the logic of political identity under the background of relief political of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the long term practice of dealing with major risks and challenges brought by earthquake disaster,the political identity of the people in the disaster areas shows two states of intensification and differentiation.The paper analyzes the driving force and establishment process of people in quake-hit areas from the perspective of subject,and analyzes the influencing factors of political identity from the perspective of social history.Then the paper analyzes the reasons for the intensification and differentiation of people’s political identity by combining the subjectivity and socially historical attribute.From the perspective of driving force,the occurrence of the political identity is the result of the joint action of internal and external forces: the external pressure formed by earthquake disaster,the internal pressure formed by survival and development need,and the external thrust generated by identity construction witch is out of the risk management and political consolidation needs.From the perspective of the establishment process,the political identity is a process by which people are guided and promoted by the construction of political system identity in interaction,and form interest consensus,emotional resonance,value sharing and behavioral synergy by their own unique way of thinking or psychological mechanism.From the perspective of influencing factors,the process of establishing political identity is affected by multi-dimensional social relations.The Communist Party of China integrate multiple social relations to cope with the challenges of major risks in the earthquake disaster effectively,meet the needs of the people,and promote the establishment of political identity.After the crisis is resolved,social relations gradually diverge in normal life and fail to be actively guided,thus hindering the establishment of political identity.People’s political identity in dealing with major risks and challenges contains the logic of relational political identity.Based on the root theory analysis,the paper choose the relational political identity as the core category to integrate three main categories: driving force,the establish process and the influencing,thus establishing the theoretical mode of political identity in coping with the challenge of significant risks and challenges.Based on theory of Marxist social relations,the paper carries on the theoretical interpretation and application practice exploration.From the perspective of Marxist social relations theory,the driving force,establishment process and influencing factors of political identity are not isolated from each other,but a unified overall mechanism of action,namely relational political identity.First,the essential characteristics of human being as a relational existence determine the sociality of human needs and their satisfaction,which determines the occurring basis of political identity.Second,communication practice is the foundation of social relations.The establishment of people political identity in dealing with major risks and challenges is the process of realizing a high degree of identity between the masses and the political system in the conscious communication practice.Third,the political identify as a kind of social consciousness,belongs to the concept of superstructure,is inevitably affected by the restriction of social relations.The basic economic system of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the coordinated political relations formed by the leadership of the Communist Party of China,social communication relations of Socialist,cultural relations guided by the socialist core value system,constitute the economic basis,political basis,social condition and cultural basis of people political identity in dealing with major risks and challenges.In order to enhance mass political identity in dealing with major risks and challenges,the logic of relational political identity should be established.The more to face the risk of major challenges,the more to keep a close contact with people.Political system should break through the thinking way of subject-object dichotomy,promote positive communication practice,and promote build identity relationship with people.On the one hand,political practices should be constantly optimized in dealing with major risks and challenges.The first way is to accurately understand and effectively respond to the needs of the people,and enhance our ability to respond to major risks and challenges.The second way is to actively carry on the conscious political communication practice to promote the establishment of political identity.The third way is to effectively integrate social relations to promote political identity.On the other hand,education and guidance of people’s political identity should be strengthened based on the practice of dealing with major risks and challenges.It is necessary to enrich and perfect the resources and carrier of identity education with the actual,perceptual practice in response to major risks and challenges.It is necessary to guide the people’s subjective psychological process to promote the establishment of identity relationship and realize identity from spontaneous to conscious.
