Research On The Satisfaction Of Social Assistance And Tactors Of Wenchuan After Disaster

Along with the cyclic motion of nature, human migration and other increasingly intensive activities of production, the environmental deterioration frequently causes various threatening natural disasters. These disasters bring great negative effect on the lives of citizens, impede economic development, disturb the social order and influence the stability of many nations even the whole world. Thus, social relief system should effectively save lives from disasters, guarantee the basic living conditions of disaster victims and resume their everyday routines. In the above context, the research and analysis on the social relief of after-disaster reconstruction will facilitate us to understand the effectiveness of our social relief system, the problems facing us and the possible ways to solve them.This work is based on the Social Science Funds Project《The social impact assessment of reconstruction of Wenchuan after earthquake》, which is directed by Professor Li huashen and the results of the survey in Wenchuan County performed by our research team. During the period of survey, we have interviewed and conducted questionnaires on over 600 local residents, and acquired large volume of first-hand information. Based on this precious data, we applied techniques of variance analysis and transactional analysis to systemically analyze the usefulness of the social relief activities on the local disaster victims.This thesis consists of five chapters,the first chapter introduces the research background, purpose and significance and gives a detailed summary of survey design。Chapter II gives a review and summary of key concepts, theories and literature at home and abroad。Chapter III summarizes the Individual characteristics of post-disaster community,and gives a descriptive analysis of social assistance situation and satisfaction of post-disaster area Wenchuan, and conducts interactive analysis based on the satisfaction of the major assistance form of Wenchuan and the individual features,which prepares for reseraching the factors of the satisfaction of social assistance in next Chapter。Chapter IV analyzes the effect of individual characteristics to the implementation of social assistance by using analysis of variance and independent sample T test and other statistical methods,and studys the relationship between the satisfaction of social assistance and factors deep。Chapter V gives a summary of the full text, draws conclusions and makes some simple suggestions。The results of this thesis can be summarized as follows:(1) The satisfaction level to the unemployment relief is highly related to gender and age of the surveyed individual, and has little effect on the evaluation of other main social relief activities;(2) The satisfaction level to the unemployment relief is also deeply affected by the educational level of the surveyed individual;(3) Income level of the surveyed individual determines his or her satisfaction levels to the medical and unemployment reliefs to different extents;(4) No solid proofs show that the satisfaction level to the disaster relief differs in ethnic groups.
