| In November 2018,the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta was promoted as a national strategy,bringing good development opportunities for the sports industry in the region.As the driving engine of the development of sports industry,sports competition and performance industry has been paid more and more attention by the governments of three provinces and one city in Yangtze River Delta in recent years.Many local governments have taken the development of sports competition and performance industry as an important starting point to enable the local social and economic development.In the current market environment of economic globalization,building regional competitive advantages has become the new trend of industrial development strategies in various regions,and enhancing the core competitiveness of regional industries,which should also become the strategic choice of sports competition and performance industry in the Yangtze River Delta region to participate in the global competition.In four provinces and cities in Yangtze river delta sports competition performance industry core competence development as the research object,the integrated use of literature study,expert interview,factor analysis and other research methods,and combining the theory of core competence,competitive advantage and other related research,to enhance the sports competition performance industry in Yangtze river delta core competitiveness,promote the development of Yangtze river delta high quality sports competition performance industry as the research objective,The core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry of four provinces and cities in Yangtze River Delta region is compared and analyzed.Centered around the basic problem,the Yangtze river delta sports competition performance industry development situation,the sports competition performance industry regional core competitive power generation and evolution mechanism and the factors affecting the sports competition,Yangtze river delta,three provinces and one city performing industry core competitiveness empirical evaluation,sports competition sports competition performance industry core competitiveness promotion strategy five aspects:First,core concept interpretation and basic theory analysis.Firstly,through literature research,the connotation and attribute of sports competition performance industry and regional core competitiveness of sports competition performance industry are analyzed and defined from the perspectives of policy and academic research.Secondly,it explains the theoretical basis of this paper.The second part is a theoretical analysis and summary of the development of sports competition and performance industry in the Yangtze River Delta region from three aspects of historical evolution,development environment and development characteristics.Thirdly,based on the regional economic development theory,competitive advantage theory,core competitiveness theory and other basic theories,the paper discusses the factors influencing the formation of the regional core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry,and analyzes the formation and evolution mechanism of the regional core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry from the perspective of resources to ability transformation.Fourth,the development evaluation of the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry in three provinces and one city in Yangtze River Delta region.Firstly,the evaluation index system of regional core competitiveness of sports competition performance industry is constructed by analytic hierarchy process combining the influencing factors and formation and evolution mechanism of regional core competitiveness.Secondly,the development level of core competitiveness of sports competition performance industry in three provinces and one city in Yangtze River Delta region is compared and measured by grey correlation model and coupling degree analysis model.Fifth,combining the theoretical and empirical analysis results to the Yangtze River Delta sports competition performance industry to enhance the core competitiveness of the relevant countermeasures.Through the analysis of the above content,this paper draws the following main conclusions.(1)Sports competition and performance industry is a comprehensive service industry with profit as its purpose,professional and non-professional sports competition and performance activities as its main commodities,highly associated with production in many different industries,and through satisfying people’s participation in sports events and sports culture needs as its value realization approach.Sports competition performance core competitiveness is to promote the development of sports competition performance industry with high quality to satisfy people’s demand for sports civilization,for the purpose of related field operators through the internal development elements such as capital,innovation and talent,and relying on the government policy on the environment,transportation and consumption environment for efficient integration with external development elements such as configuration,Maintain long-term,stable and unique comprehensive ability in the market competition in this field.(2)The overall development level of sports competition and performance industry in the Yangtze River Delta region is outstanding,and the development of the four provinces and cities has its own characteristics.The development of sports competition and performance industry in the Yangtze River Delta region has experienced three stages:regional joint cooperation(1995-2012),from cooperation to alliance(2013-2017),and from geographical development to national strategy(2018-present),with relatively solid social development environment and good industrial development environment.Four areas at the same time,the three provinces and one city sports competition performance industry development under the development thought of seeking common ground while putting aside differences,formed with the aim to the overall integration,Shanghai international competition as its center,the jiangsu fashion movement as its kernel,zhejiang outdoor leisure tour as the main body,the depth of anhui layout body fusion characteristics of diversified and sustainable development.(3)The formation and evolution of regional core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry is the result of the comprehensive action of different types of elements.Sports competition performance industry regional core competitiveness is the factor endowments,demand conditions,related industry,and the common influence of many factors,in the natural location,economic location and administrative level in the process of continuous innovation to integrate the advantages of resources,following the identifying core resources and core resource acquisition,resource optimization and coordination configuration,core resources management innovation generation and evolution of logic.(4)The evaluation index system of regional core competitiveness of sports competition performance industry should include 3 first-level indexes,9 second-level indexes and 25 third-level indexes.Using analytic hierarchy process(ahp),Delphi method,follow the principle of scientific,comprehensive,purpose,based on the connotation of the core competence theory and combining with our country sports industry development characteristics "diamond model",think "demand environment","core factors",and "industrial environment" is affecting the development of regional core competitive sports competition performance industry three big system,The advantages of the three systems are reflected in the development level of nine elements such as "regional economic conditions" and "policy and strategy",which are respectively affected by 25 different factors such as "local GDP","capital" and "related industries".(5)The three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta have their own advantages in the development of the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry,but there is a difference in the level of development.Relying on the good foundation of "core elements "and "industrial environment",Shanghai has obvious advantages in the development of the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry.The comprehensive strength of core competitiveness of sports competition performance industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is strong,but the development level of core competitiveness in Jiangsu province is ahead of that in Zhejiang Province.The most obvious advantages are in "industrial environment",while the advantages of Zhejiang province are in "transportation" and"capital".As a new member of the Yangtze River Delta region,Anhui has a big gap in the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance compared with other three provinces and cities,but the speed of sports industry development and the level of capital investment are higher than the other three provinces and cities,which reflects that Anhui is accelerating the pace of catching up.(6)The restricting factors of the development of the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry in the Yangtze River Delta include internal and external restricting factors.Firstly,in the internal environment of the industry,there are constraints such as lack of capital guidance and support,low level of innovation environment construction,lack of professional industrial talents and so on.Secondly,from the outside of the industry,consumer demand and consumption ability are still insufficient,regional transportation network construction and development is unbalanced,industrial policy and system environment needs to be improved,and industrial integration development is at a low level,which are also important reasons for the gap in the development level of the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry among the four provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta.(7)The sports competition and performance industry among the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta is still in the stage of low synergistic development and has not yet entered the ideal stage of integrated development.Among them,the synergistic development level between Zhejiang and Jiangsu sports competition performance industry is the highest,and the synergistic degree between Shanghai and Anhui is the lowest.(8)At present,the improvement of the core competitiveness of sports competition and performance industry in the Yangtze River Delta should be carried out in six aspects:strengthening the construction of institutional environment,strengthening the guidance and support of capital,strengthening the construction of transportation network,strengthening talent cultivation,strengthening the construction of innovation environment,and strengthening the integrated
