In recent years,China is experiencing an important transformation from factor driven development to innovation driven development.The knowledge-based economy has promoted the rapid rise of a number of emerging industries.At the same time,innovation has also triggered a new round of adjustment of industrial structure and employment structure.As a key link in the adjustment of economic structure,income distribution plays an important role in realizing common prosperity.When the development achievements under the new economic normal are truly transformed,the labor remuneration will also be increased to a reasonable level.In this gradual upgrading process,increasing the share of workers’ remuneration is one of the core problems to be solved in the initial distribution.Exploring along the track of development,we can see that China’s share of labor remuneration has maintained long-term relative stability,showing changes and differences in different periods.This difference is closely related to the phased characteristics of economic and social development.Therefore,how to understand the internal mechanism of the change of labor remuneration share and how to improve labor remuneration share through innovation and development is the basis for understanding the downturn of labor remuneration share and promoting the fairness of income distribution.The research ideas of this paper are as follows:first,define the concept and review the existing literature.The second is to summarize the theoretical model and transmission mechanism on the basis of existing research.Third,put forward research hypotheses according to the derivation model and test them one by one by empirical means.The fourth is to analyze the empirical results and put forward suggestions on this basis.Firstly,this paper defines the basic concept of labor remuneration share and summarizes the connotation of regional innovation ability.This paper expounds the measurement research on regional innovation ability at home and abroad,the factors affecting innovation ability,and the spatial evolution characteristics of regional innovation ability.This paper combs the research on the change trend of labor remuneration share in different regions,introduces various factors affecting labor remuneration share,and sorts out the research on the differences of labor remuneration share in academic circles.The existing research is reviewed,and on this basis,the research breakthrough is tried to be sought.Secondly,it sorts out the relevant theories of innovation and systematically combs the element theory.Starting from the viewpoints of different schools,this paper reviews the income distribution theory.On this basis,this paper deduces the process of innovation ability affecting labor reward share.On this basis,it explains the differential impact of innovation ability in different periods.This paper focuses on the transmission mechanism of regional innovation ability in the economic system.Combined with the existing theoretical research,this paper puts forward the corresponding research hypothesis for the follow-up research of this paper:it is speculated that the improvement of regional innovation ability has no significant positive impact on labor remuneration share in the short term,there is an intermediary mechanism in the impact process,and the actual impact effect is related to regional characteristics.In addition,the share of labor remuneration in developed regions is more affected by regional innovation ability,and its spillover effect has time lag.This paper introduces in detail the evolution trend of labor remuneration share since the reform and opening up in China.By comparing the calculation methods,this paper makes a comprehensive calculation of the explained variables in this paper.From the perspective of innovation input and innovation output,this paper describes the current situation of local innovation ability.Select the research indicators of regional innovation ability,calculate the index weight of each year by using entropy weight method and critical method,and calculate the score of regional innovation ability after comprehensive weighting,so as to lay the data foundation for the follow-up empirical research.Thirdly,through the construction of panel model and empirical test,it is found that regional innovation ability has an inhibitory effect on the share of labor remuneration at this stage,and this conclusion is still valid after the model is revised.According to this research idea,the classification test of innovation input and innovation output is carried out,and the results also show that the inhibitory effect occupies the main position.After using the dynamic panel model,the sign of the variable coefficient does not change,which later confirms that the current development of innovation has not had a significant positive impact on the share of labor remuneration.After gradually reducing the control variables in the model,the coefficient does not change significantly,indicating that the estimation model has a certain robustness.By dividing the panel data into central,Eastern and western regions for heterogeneity test,it is found that the more developed eastern region is most significantly impacted by the regional innovation ability,and its impact degree is higher than the overall national level,which reflects the current situation of significant differences in regional innovation ability.In the relevant test of intermediary effect,the degree of marketization and industrial structure as intermediary variables have an inhibitory effect on the share of labor remuneration.When the intermediary variable is labor productivity,it will promote the increase of labor remuneration share.At the same time,it demonstrates that there is an intermediary mechanism for the impact of regional innovation ability on labor remuneration share.In addition,the level of urbanization can be used as a regulatory variable for the impact of regional innovation ability.With the improvement of urbanization level,the impact of regional innovation ability on labor remuneration share will be gradually weakened.The panel threshold model is used to test the threshold of three indicators:financial allocation ability,economic development level and opening to the outside world.It is found that when the financial allocation ability is higher than the threshold,the impact of regional innovation ability on labor remuneration share will change from negative to positive.At this stage,the improvement of economic development level will continue to restrain the share of labor remuneration,which proves that the share of labor remuneration in developed areas is more affected by regional innovation ability.When the degree of opening to the outside world is low,the regional innovation ability has no significant positive impact,and turns to significant inhibitory impact when it is higher than the threshold.It also demonstrates that the actual impact effect of innovation ability is related to regional characteristics.With the help of the calculation of BP neural network model,without considering the individual effect,from the coefficient symbol,a number of innovation related indicators show a positive effect on the share of labor remuneration,revealing that the regional innovation ability may promote the share of labor remuneration in the future.Finally,the spatial spillover effect of regional innovation ability is investigated by using the method of spatial econometrics.After the spatial autocorrelation test,the inverse distance spatial weight matrix and economic distance spatial weight matrix are selected for analysis.The results show that the direct effect of SDM model under the inverse distance matrix is significant,but the indirect effect is not significant,which also shows that the spillover effect has the characteristics of time delay.After using the economic distance matrix for empirical analysis,it is found that the direct effect and indirect effect are significant,but the symbols are different.It reflects that the negative effect of regional innovation ability on the local labor remuneration share has not changed,but with the expansion of the spatial spillover effect of its innovation ability,other regions have formed more economic growth points and growth poles relying on the improvement of innovation energy.The regions affected by the spatial spillover effect can create more employment opportunities and improve the level of labor remuneration.To sum up,in view of the theoretical demonstration and empirical test,the study found that the regional innovation ability of all regions has been greatly improved,and changes in the same direction with economic growth.However,the development of regional innovation is still in its infancy,and the transformation and upgrading has not been fully completed.At present,the regional innovation ability has not yet played a role in promoting the share of labor remuneration,and most industries have not really enjoyed the dividends brought by technological change and knowledge creation.On the other hand,the overall performance of the national labor remuneration share fluctuates,but the differences between different regions are still large.The difference of regional innovation ability is one of the factors affecting the fluctuation of labor remuneration share.From a regional perspective,compared with the central and western regions with backward overall development,the share level of labor remuneration in the eastern region is more obviously affected by the regional innovation ability.In addition,regional innovation ability can affect the share of labor remuneration by affecting the degree of marketization,industrial structure and labor productivity.The level of urbanization has a regulatory effect in the process of regional innovation ability acting on the share of labor remuneration.From the perspective of space,innovation ability does not have a positive impact on the share of local labor remuneration,but has no significant negative spatial spillover effect for regions with relatively close geographical location.The growth of regional innovation ability still has no significant effect on improving the share of labor remuneration in surrounding areas and areas with similar development level.Based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward the following suggestions to improve the positive impact of regional innovation ability on labor remuneration share:continuously optimize the construction of factor market and adjust the factor endowment structure;In terms of income distribution,we should not only standardize the income system,improve the reward growth mechanism and narrow the income gap;From the perspective of regional innovation,we should remove regional obstacles,strengthen the construction of innovation system,strengthen practical training,improve the level of human capital,design gradient stratification strategy,and build a new pattern of scientific and technological innovation. |
