ecological network moral order is the trend to meet the growing needs of the people for a better life.Emotion firstly infect people’s hearts.The maintenance of online moral order often comes firstly from the demands of online moral emotion.Only the noble online moral emotion of individuals have the persistence of online moral belief and the implementation of online moral behavior.Therefore,strengthening the construction of online moral emotion is the fundamental guarantee for billions of netizen to enhance their sense of gain,happiness,and security,and it is also a need for the development of Party and Country.In the new era,college students are the "generation of online students",with relatively complete knowledge of online morality.However,their online moral behavior is not satisfactory,and there is a serious disconnect between knowledge and action.The main reason is the lack of online moral emotion.Therefore,compared to the recognition of online morality,the cultivation of college students’ online moral emotion is more important.In addition,online moral emotion have a double-edged sword effect.On one hand,a moderate level of this emotion in college students serves as a crucial intrinsic motivator,aligning their internet ethical knowledge with actions.Conversely,when the emotion intensify excessively,it tend to skew towards extremities and irrationality,consequently destabilizing the order of internet ethics.The in-depth exploration of college students’ online moral emotion is not only necessary to maintain the order of online morality,but also strengthen their ideals,beliefs and protection their physical and mental health.It has important theoretical research significance and practical application value.This study embraces a synthesis of theoretical and empirical methodologies,encompassing both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.It amalgamates insights,methodologies,and findings from diverse fields including ideological and political education,psychology,ethics,and communication studies,From the perspective of ecosystem theory,the study explores college students’ online moral emotion from the perspective of "Overall characteristics-Specific characteristicsEvolutionary path-Reason analysis-Response methods".The details are as follows::In the first part,this study introduces the basis of the topic,the significance of the research,a review of domestic and foreign studies,the research framework and approach,and the research methods and innovations.In the second part,an analysis of the theoretical basis of this study begins with the definition of concepts such as emotion and sentiment,moral emotion and sentiment,online emotion,and online moral emotion.Next,explain the moral education thoughts of classic Marxist writers,the moral education views of successive leaders of the Communist Party of China,the basic theory of moral emotion,and the basic theory of online emotion,which provides theoretical support and basis for the follow-up empirical research.In the third part,from a static perspective,this study adopts big data research methods to conduct a general analysis of the moral emotional state of 6728 Weibo comments on 20 hot campus events of college students in 2020.The research results show that the basic state of college students’ online moral emotion are: complexity with confrontation;capriciousness with a hint of rationality;highlighting individuality in commonality.The challenges of college students’ online moral emotion are:negative orientation;group polarization;a superficial engagement with information..In the fourth part,following the logical approach of progressive research,the overall pattern cannot understand the specific characteristics of moral emotion.Further,based on the questionnaire survey method,the pattern characteristics of different online moral emotion are analyzed.On the basis of the self-designed survey questionnaires "Positive Moral Emotions of College Students on the Internet" and "Negative Moral Emotions of College Students on the Internet"(after 6 rounds and10 rigorous revisions),a survey of 2222 college students from 14 universities show that: the overall level of positive moral emotions on the Internet is high;compare to online assistance,positive news on the Internet cause a higher level of positive moral emotion;there are structural differences in gender and discipline,The negative moral emotion on the internet exhibit a higher overall level;compare to the moral condemnation of oneself,the moral condemnation of others is higher;there are structural differences in gender and discipline.In the fifth part,from the perspective of ecosystem theory,static analysis alone is not sufficient.Once again,from a dynamic perspective,SEM are used to analyze the development of college students’ online moral emotion.The findings show that:College students’ positive online moral emotion positively influence online altruistic behavior;The sensation of moral uplift serves as an emotional mediator,while trait reinforcement offers personality regulation.College students’ negative online moral emotion adversely predicts online deviant behaviors,moral identification acts as a mediator in cognitive motivation,while online anonymity offers situational regulation..In the sixth part,based on "exploring the reasons from the practice" and combining empirical research conclusions,this study analyzes the underlying mechanisms of college students’ online moral emotion.The reasons of overall characteristics are "the moral and cultural literacy of the internet needs to be strengthened;social guidance and regulation need to be improved;the trend of network moral education";The reasons of the positive moral emotion’s specific characteristics are "the infection of positive event;the promotion of group identification;the awakening of heroic spirit;the appeal of patriotism;and the promotion of propaganda and education";The reasons of the negative moral emotion’s specific characteristics are “negative contagion;specificity of moral content;gratitude for social moral responsibility;and blurring of moral standards”;The reasons for the evolution of positive moral emotion include “differences in moral evaluation tendencies;a sense of moral enhancement;and role models in online assistance”,The reasons for the evolution of negative moral emotion are “moral self-discipline;trait moral self realization;moral permission effects;and a sense of moral condemnation responsibility”.Finally,this study clarify the guiding principles of college students’ online moral emotion,which include “the integration of sensibility and rationality;the combination of self-discipline and disciplining others;internal and external coordination;coexistence of commonality and individuality”.Under the guidance of these principles,the educational strategies for college students’ online moral emotion are:Emphasizing the guidance of online civility etiquette;Enhancing rational and mature emotional expression;Reversing the one-sidedness of emotional orientation.The guiding path for the positive moral emotion is as follows: Strengthening the cultivation of positive emotions on the internet;Deepening the education of positive online news propaganda;Promoting the role of online role models in helping others;Cultivating the positive personality qualities of internet users.The guiding path for the negative moral emotion is as follows: Cultivating a spirit of self-discipline on the internet;Ensuring the guardianship of online civility;Forming motivation for ethical identification on the internet;Implementing real-name supervision on the internet. |
