Research On The Impact Of Advanced Manufacturing Industry Agglomeration In Beijing Tianjin Hebei On High Quality Economic Development

The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that "high-quality development is the primary task of comprehensively building a socialist modernized country".Developing new quality productive forces is an inherent requirement and important focus for promoting high-quality development.The core of new quality productivity is innovation,and the important carrier of innovation is advanced manufacturing industry.The coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei,as a major national strategy,shoulders the dual mission of leading the construction of high-level urban agglomerations in China and building world-class urban agglomerations.Advanced manufacturing industry agglomeration in Beijing Tianjin Hebei has a demonstrative and driving effect on the highquality development of regional economy.In this context,in-depth research on the impact mechanism can not only build a research logic between them,but also explore new implementation paths for promoting high-quality regional economic development.It has significant theoretical and practical significance for improving the efficiency of advanced manufacturing agglomeration and enriching research in related fields.This article first reviews domestic and foreign literature on the coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei,manufacturing agglomeration,high-quality economic development,and the relationship between them,and summarizes relevant viewpoints.Secondly,define and analyze the core concepts and related theoretical foundations of this article,providing theoretical support for the in-depth research of the paper.Based on the New Economic Geography Economic Growth Theory,this paper elaborates on the impact mechanism and path from five dimensions: innovation,coordination,green,openness,and sharing,and proposes four theoretical hypotheses.Once again,based on data statistics,analyze the current status of advanced manufacturing and economic development in Beijing Tianjin Hebei.By elaborating on the research methods for measuring the agglomeration level of advanced manufacturing industry and constructing an indicator system for high-quality economic development,this paper measures the agglomeration level and the development level in Beijing Tianjin Hebei,and analyzes their evolutionary laws.The measurement results show that from 2012 to 2022,the overall location entropy of advanced manufacturing industry in the region shows a steady upward trend,and the degree of agglomeration of advanced manufacturing industry continues to improve.But there are strong differences between different regions and industries;The measurement results show that from 2012 to 2022,the average index of high-quality economic development has shown an overall upward trend with a small fluctuation.After 2014,with the implementation of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei coordinated development strategy,the level has significantly improved.However,The problem of uneven high-quality economic development in Beijing Tianjin Hebei continues to intensify,and the gap in innovation levels among different regions is more prominent compared to other aspects.Finally,based on the theoretical foundation and current situation analysis mentioned earlier,an empirical test is conducted on the impact mechanism.Considering the uniformity of the classification of advanced manufacturing industries and ensuring the accuracy of data calculation,this article takes panel data from 13 cities in Beijing Tianjin Hebei from 2012 to 2022 as the research sample,and uses various econometric methods such as benchmark regression,threshold effect,intermediary effect,and spatial spillover effect to verify the impact mechanism of the agglomeration level on high-quality economic development.Through empirical testing,it is found that advanced manufacturing industries agglomeration has a significant positive promoting effect on high-quality economic development in Beijing Tianjin Hebei,mainly through promoting technological innovation,social coordination,green environmental protection,opening up to the outside world,and shared development.From the analysis of the threshold effect test results,there is a double threshold effect.The higher the degree of agglomeration,the more obvious the promoting effect on high-quality economic development.From the analysis of the intermediary effect test results,the agglomeration can indirectly affect high-quality economic development through technological innovation,capital investment,and consumption expenditure.From the analysis of the spatial effect test results,there is a significant spatial spillover effect on highquality economic development,which will be transmitted to neighboring cities through spatial connections.The innovation of this article lies in: firstly,in terms of theoretical mechanisms,based on the new economic geography,exploring the impact mechanism of advanced manufacturing agglomeration on high-quality economic development.In the past,literature analysis of its impact mechanism was limited to qualitative analysis,lacking support from mathematical deduction,making it difficult to form a theoretical foundation.This article explores the theoretical framework of the relationship between them based on existing research.Further in-depth analysis of its impact mechanism and exploration of the mechanism by which advanced manufacturing agglomeration promotes high-quality economic development have enriched the theoretical framework and content of the impact.Secondly,in terms of research methods,the impact of advanced manufacturing agglomeration in Beijing Tianjin Hebei on high-quality economic development was empirically tested from multiple perspectives and dimensions.The methods used in empirical analysis in historical literature are relatively single.This article uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to study the impact mechanism of advanced manufacturing agglomeration on high-quality economic development.Using various models such as benchmark regression,threshold effect,mediation effect,and spatial spillover effect to conduct empirical tests,improve the accuracy of research conclusions,and obtain innovative research results.Thirdly,in terms of research conclusions,a series of policy recommendations are proposed to promote the agglomeration of advanced manufacturing industries in Beijing Tianjin Hebei and promote high-quality economic development.Based on sufficient qualitative analysis and empirical testing,this study deeply examines the impact mechanism from the perspective of "innovation,coordination,green,openness,and sharing".Among them,innovative development has the greatest impact on promoting development.This article proposes to comprehensively utilize different policy measures,play a comprehensive role,increase scientific and technological innovation,promote the agglomeration of advanced manufacturing industries in Beijing Tianjin Hebei,accelerate the development of new quality productive forces,and promote high-quality economic development.
