Hydrologic data acquisition system is a system which processes the hydrologic data by using the sensor technology, measurement and control technology, communication technology and computer network technology comprehensively. Hydrologic data acquisition system collects, analyses and processes the water information in real time so that it call provide support for the flood prevention and water resources allocation.lt is the basis of water conservancy project become to informatization,networking,intelligent direction.This paper analyses the character of traditional Hydrologic data acquisition system and the actual situation of TianGuYa Reservoir. The hardware and software of the automatic monitor and forecast of flood regimen system which is based on GPRS wireless communication is designed by taking the microprocessor LPC2142 as the core, using the Kingview developed the monitoring system of hydrologic data acquisition system. The development and design of Hydrologic data acquisition system power module, data acquisition module, A/D converter module, communication interface module, memory interface, IAP hardware circuit have been finished. The overall idea of the software design was presented, the software include the data collection, keyboard display, IAP software software function have been finished. Then the GPRS wireless network technology has been introduced in detail base on GPRS network, data transmission, related agreementsand so on.Using the Kingview designed the PC management software, realized the main monitoring interface, real-time curve, data statements, alarm records inter.This paper mainly features include two aspects:the first is low power consumption, we reduced system power which used low-power microprocessor, interface chips and partition power supply in hardware design in hardware design; the second, we describes how to use with ISP/IAP design with the function of the hydrological data acquisition system of IAP. The new method for upgrading terminal program using IAP function based on GPRS/GSM is produced, which is aimed at the special disadvantage of remote monitoring system, such as difficult updating, widely distribute and so on. Above all groundwork, the reliability of IAP application is researched more. Combining the function, cost, reliability of the system.Function, stability and reliability are final goals of the design of the instrument, the instrument tries to optimize the design of hardware and software on the premise of realizing the basic function, comparing GPRS wireless communication with other communication modes, its huge advantages for the Hydrologic data acquisition system are proposed specially, realize the real-time monitororing of hydrological information.
