A Study Of The Mobile Communication Information System Based On GIS

This paper studies the correlative exotericas and methods of the Geographic Information System (GIS) based on Client/Server model of computer network structure. It gives a real instance base on GIS. The instance is applied in the China Mobile Communication Company of Daqing City, managing and maintaining the whole communication pipelines, and the application result is better.At present, the dimensions of the mobile communication pipelines of a city keeps growing and the relevant communication businesses are increasing quickly. But many aspects relevant to this problem are still in relative straggling status. For example, in the planning, constructing or maintaining of the communication pipelines, or in the saving and managing of the data and documents.The GIS system can provide excellent functions of query, searching and analyzing, and it will be a potent tool of managing devices and businesses query in the company.First, this paper expatiates the basic concepts and functions and features and application scopes and new technology about GIS. and it summarizes the application and development in the world. Then it studies the mathematic models, correlative exotericas and technology, and it gives the structure and organization and getting method of the space data. And it gives the methods of graphics processing and displaying. Finally, according to the real instance of the mobile communication pipelines in Daqing City, this paper gives a specific project of the GIS, and it introduces the functions of program modules.
