| There are abundant tourism resources in Guizhou. In the past 20 years, the tourism of Guizhou has achieved great progress, and forms its unique karst landscape and heavy minor national flavor. Though tourism is becoming one of the polar industries, it exists some problems: a low conversion rate, the level of development is sole, no tourism products with high technology and cultural connotation and high participating of tourists, all these problems affect the image of Guizhou tourism and its popularity; environment protection is neglected in tourism development and there is some devastating exploiting and construction, these problems further deteriorate the fragile karst environment. Karst caves are the unique tourism resources, and the main form of tourism development is tour sightseeing, so the transformation rate of cave resource superiority is low. Caving is a kind of ecology tourism development with science, profession and risking and participating, thus it is the strategic guidance thought in accordance with western development; developing cave exploring is ideal way of raising the superiority transformation rate of cave tourism resource, set up the new image widen its fame.Compared with foreign countries, the cave exploring abroad is well developed with better equipments and technology and security system. Guizhou cave exploring, even in china, is still in its infancy, while has great potential. This thesis will analyze the development potential from resource and market, Part one compare the development history of cave exploring between abroad and at home, and summarize the features of cave exploring and its significance; Part two review the history of Guizhou karst cave exploring, and point out the development opportunities; Part three analyze the form features of four caves of Guizhou and the cause of their formation; Part four ,the core of the whole thesis, sum up the resource and market potential of caving in Guizhou. From the sides of lithology, the thickness of rock, geology structure, the function of water and the karst regional structure, the author analysed the resource potential in Guizhou; analyze the motivation of cave exploring and the characteristics of cave explorers from population feature and psychological factors, based on this analysis. Part five summarizes thedevelopment of caves exploring technology and the technology of "SRT" . The following are the main points of this thesis:(1) caving can satisfy the people's various needs, such as self-realization, exploring complexity and variety. Through the comparison between at home and abroad, caving has developed on the stage of mature, organization and implementation of caving is perfect, the participants includes not only professional researchers but also a avocational lovers, the caving in our country is in its developing stage, and the caving technology and equipments are backward, caving security system is not complete, the participants are only the professional researchers and has not reach the stage which is popular.(2) from the sides of lithology, the thickness of rock, geology structure, the function of water and the karst regional structure, discussed the resource potential in Guizhou: big cave system often originate in thick and pure area ; the geology structure often lies in the wings of wrinkle; the external water plays an important role; according to the karst regional structure, the long and big caves are often distributed in the valley areas.(3) The caving in Guizhou has great market potential. The international market is mainly the people who participate the international cooperation, with the increasing of international exchange , the international market is increasing; domestic market is mainly caving researchers and members of clubs of outdoor activities, additionally the adults tourist ranging from 20 to 45 years are the potential caving lover.
