The Design Of COM GIS Based On Oracle Spatial

In order to finish the design of COM GIS based on Oracle Spatial, how to design of space database and how to utilize COM technology to structure GIS system based on Oracle Spatial are discussed especially. On the basis of analyzing key concepts of GIS, technologies of COM and Oracle Spatial, the system structure of COM GIS based on Oracle Spatial is designed. Utilizing the method of Object-Oriented Analysis, the classes of GIS based on Oracle Spatial and the interfaces of main components are designed. Through analysing the concept model of spatial data, the storing scheme based on Oracle Spatial is put forward, at the same time, through fully exploiting technology offered by Oracle, the solution in GIS data security and GIS long transaction processing is provided.
