Geo-informatic TuPu theory is a new explored direction and new development for geography. Since proposing, its brand-new thinking of research has produced the great response in world and at home. At present, the research on the Geo-informatic TuPu is still at the stage of exploring and lay particular emphasis on study on theory method, in the expression means it mostly use the static abstract two-dimension graph or the series diagram form expressed the thing and the phenomenon changes, which lack of the dynamic vision. The author researches the Multi-dimensional and dynamic Geo-informatic TuPu system to discover the way to apply Multi-dimensional and dynamic visualization techniques to Geo-informatic TuPu, and the theory, framework, methods of implementation are researched also.The main achievements of this paper are the follows:1. At the beginning of this paper, the current situation is concluded in theoretic level and practice applications. Then, main problems in Geo-informatic TuPu design are researched. Having explained the purpose and meaning of this subject.2. It introduces the conceptions and characters of visualization, visualization in scientific computing, cartographic visualization at first. Then, it summarizes and analyzes the current situation of the Multi-dimensional and dynamic visualization techniques, At the end of this chapter, it introduces the key technology of OpenGL.3. The concepts and theory about Geo-informatic TuPu are introduced, the flaw which is in the aspects of technical realization and expression method of the traditional TuPu are analyzed4. The design methods of the Multi-dimensional and dynamic Geo-informatic TuPu based on OpenGL are discussed. New methods to realize the Multi-dimensional and dynamic visualization effect in Geo—informatic TuPu with OpenGL are brought up, At last, how to deal with every kind of data is talked about.5. Based on all researches above, we design and develop the Multi-dimensional and dynamic Geo-informatic TuPu of Fujian Ecological Environment and the framework, work mechanism are discussed.
